How to Get Still Water in Blue Prince

The tale of Blue Prince doesn't end with getting to Room 46. In fact, the game will barely have started by the time you reach that final room. There is so much more lore, so much more story, and many more puzzles to encounter after you see the ending cutscene in Blue Prince.

One of the many puzzles you can come across during the end-game involves finding an item called Still Water. You will need this to figure out how to get to part of the true ending in this massive game, and it can be extremely difficult to find. Where to Find Still Water in Blue Prince

It seems that there is only one location in the whole game that you can get Still Water: the Trading Post. The Trading Post is a room that only shows up outside in the outer room. It is a gold-colored shop room, and it allows you to trade items for other items you don't already possess. It contains a Mora Jai puzzle box and a stick of dynamite that you can't interact with just yet.

To find the Still Water in this room, you need to use the Burning Glass on the stick of dynamite. This will blow up the left wall of the Trading Post, allowing you to find the secret room. Inside the secret room will be a distillery, and inside one of these vats is some Still Water.

How to Collect the Still Water From the Trading Post in Blue Prince

In order to collect the Still Water, you will need to get yourself the Blue Prince item called the Watering Can. You will need to walk through green rooms and use the Watering Can to empty it of its watery contents. Then, you need to go out to the Trading Post and walk up to the open vat in the secret room.

It will take about five seconds of standing in front of the vat for the prompt to refill the Watering Can. Fill up the Watering Can, then you can move on with the puzzle. If you store the Watering Can, either with the Moon Pendant or the Coat Check, it will still have the Still Water the next day.

Can't refill the Watering Can? If you have not reached Room 46 or gotten the Throne of the Blue Prince just yet, this will not yet be an option for you. Complete those quests, then come back to this one.

Where to Use the Still Water in Blue Prince

Now that you have the Still Water, what are you supposed to do with it? It can be used to make blank pages give up their secrets. If you think back to all the rooms you have interacted with, you might remember a room that had some blank books inside it.

The blank books can be found inside the Library. On the bottom floor of the Library are two stands with open books with blank pages on them. Simply pour the water onto these pages to see some secrets show up.
