Some rooms in Blue Prince are more rare than others. While there will be ones that you will repeatedly encounter on nearly every run, other rooms may not show up for several days if you're unlucky. Then there are rooms that have very specific criteria to be drafted, and Room 8 is one such room. Room 8 will not show up randomly, and even if you do manage to find it there is a challenging puzzle waiting for you. Once you manage to find your way there, here is how you can solve the puzzle in Room 8.

How to Reach Room 8

To reach Room 8, you must draw the Gallery. This room contains one of the more difficult puzzles in Blue Prince, and if you manage to solve it you will earn some gems, gold coins, and a strange key called Key 8. You will need to use this key to enter Room 8, but can't use it on just any locked door. To enter Room 8, you must find a locked rank eight door (the eighth row on the blueprint) and use Key 8 to unlock it.

So there is certainly a random element to it, as while locked doors are much more common on higher ranking rows, they aren't necessarily a guarantee.

How to Solve the Room 8 Puzzle in Blue Prince

Within this strange room, you will come across a large sideways number eight that looks more like the infinity symbol. Along the wall, there will also be eight statues:

Lion statue
Swan statue
Pigeon statue
Elephant statue
Rabbit statue
Dog statue
Bear statue
Monkey statue

You will also see eight bins around the infinity symbol: Hubris, Envy, Lust, Wrath, Gluttony, Sloth, Avarice, and Mundanity. For this puzzle, you need to figure out which statue goes into which bin. This is done by reading the plaque on each statue to determine where each one goes. Pay attention to the painting on the wall, as that is an important part of figuring out which statue goes where. The correct bin for statue is as follows:

If all statues have been inserted into the correct bins, a hidden compartment will open along the wall. Inside you will find two Allowance Tokens along with the Infinity Trophy. Claiming this trophy will unlock the Trophy 8 achievement.
