Blue Prince Treasure Map Walkthrough

In Blue Prince, you must build and rebuild your home over and over again with different combinations of rooms. There are several different kinds of rooms in Blue Prince, along with items you can find to help you put the rooms together in the right places.

One of the many items you can find is a Treasure Map, and it will point to a specific location in the house that you need to get to. This map will allow you to find all sorts of hidden items, gold, gems, and even some secrets in Blue Prince. How to Use Treasure Maps in Blue Prince

Treasure Maps will show a 5x9 grid with an X in one of the boxes. Regardless of which room ends up in the marked location, you will be able to dig for treasure in it. You will need to pick up an item in Blue Prince that allows you to dig, like the Shovel or the Jackhammer. Next, head to that location on the map or put a room in that box if you can; you do not have to follow the path on the map, just get to the box with the X on it from any direction. Walk into the room and wait for the Treasure Map to pop up on the left side of the screen, prompting you to interact with it.

Once you press the interact button, you will be able to look down at the floor and see a "Dig" icon. Press the dig button to pull out your Shovel and start digging. This will get you a small chest which is filled with gold coins, Blue Prince gems, or a combination of both. As of this writing, nothing special is known about the X that appears on the back of the map.

Baron Baffler Answer in Blue Prince

If you place a bedroom in the X location shown on any Treasure Map, you can dig up a paper called the Baron Bafflers; these will only appear if the Blue Prince room you drafted is purple. This paper shows several word puzzles that will help you to solve a bigger mystery. In order to solve this one, you need to think of a larger word that will fill in all the slots and will answer the question, but the gray boxes must also make a word that can be an answer to the question. At the time of writing, it doesn't seem like this is a useful clue to any of the other puzzles in the game. The lore of Blue Prince mentions that Herbert used to make these puzzles in his spare time, but it does not appear to be connected to anything else.
