The Jet Set Radio-inspired Bomb Rush Cyberfunk features 20 skaters that players can unlock, and the majority of the list can be unlocked by playing through the game. There are six characters that players can unlock by playing through the main story of Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, and another 14 characters that will become available to unlock after finishing the campaign. This guide will show players how to unlock all characters in the game through gameplay both during the main story and after beating it.
How To Unlock All Main Story Characters In Bomb Rush Cyberfunk
Mesh
Mesh can be found on a large teal platform in Brink Terminal that players can grind on rails to get to. Complete his score challenge, and he will move to the tallest tower nearby. Find him and complete his challenge again.
He will then move to the canal next to the tunnel, and ask you to help drain the canal to find his lost skateboard. You will have to enter an area guarded by an Oldhead, which needs 140 Rep, and grind on a billboard to get to the control room. Drain the canal and Mesh will then be unlocked.
Rave
Rave is first located in the Verdum Hills subway station. Complete the challenge she gives, then find her at the bazaar to complete a second score challenge. She will then move to the front of your hideout and challenge you to a race. Beat her in the third challenge to unlock her.
Rise
Rise will be hanging out at the far end of Pyramid Island, and you will have to take a picture of her with your in-game phone. Next, climb the bridge above her and continue to the top of the construction building.
Take three more pictures of her after getting to her, and will challenge you to tag a specific spot. Tag the spot she asks, and Rise will then be unlocked.
Shine
Shine is located in the Millennium Mall food court, and her first challenge will be to copy her Toprock dance. She will then move to the second floor of the food court, and do the Popping dance in front of her.
Go to the record store to receive a text message that Shine is at the Theater Hall. Do the Housedance with her there, then travel to third floor of the mall food court to receive another text message that she is now at the mall's warehouse. Find Shine at the warehouse and perform the Breakdance with her to unlock her.
Solace and Vinyl
Both Solace and Vinyl are unlocked after completing the main story of Bomb Rush Cyberfunk. There are no extra requirements to get both.

Coil
Coil can be located in alleyway in Mataan, and is one of the only post-game unlocks that require multiple tasks to complete. Once found, imitate his dance moves and then travel to the big gold statue. Players will receive a text message that he has moved to the Mataan RIver.
Players will not find him there, but will receive another text message at the entrance of the strip that Coil is back in Mataan. Go back and into the gold statue to find him dancing. He will challenge you to a race, and beating him in the race will unlock him.
