Outside of the main story for Borderlands 4, there are 12 Safehouses that players can discover. Each Safehouse has its own Datapad and Console that are required to activate it, thus providing players with a safe haven and a new HUB where they can purchase items, rest up, and select new contracts. Safehouses are essential for getting around Kairos, as each of them becomes a Fast Travel Station to use. Below, we've listed the location of every Safehouse in Borderlands 4, along with where you can find the Datapad and Console to make these places a new home in Kairos.

Shut-Eye Keep Safehouse & Datapad Location
How to Get the Shut-Eye Keep Safehouse
- Location: The Howl, The Fadefields
At Shut-Eye Keep, players will want to head right of the Safehouse to find an Order station, where they will be able to activate a lever that takes them upwards into the Safehouse itself. Follow the linear path through the garden area and into the Safehouse, then face the left side of the north wall and look up. Players will be able to find a grapple hook point, where they can then grapple up and find the Datapad. With the Datapad, head to the Command Console at the south wall to activate this Safehouse.
Someday Rise Safehouse & Datapad Location
How to Get the Someday Rise Safehouse
- Location: Idolator's Noose, The Fadefields
Follow around Someday Rise to find a mountainside path, where players can climb up a ledge and grapple across to navigate to this Safehouse on the cliff. There are some hostile Manglers here, so be cautious of those. Opposite the Safehouse and to the left is a small campsite with the Datapad on a mattress. Grab the Datapad, head back to the Safehouse (which is now unlocked), and activate the Command Console at the north wall.
Wyclef's Reprieve Safehouse & Datapad Location
How to Get the Wyclef's Reprieve Safehouse
- Location: Idolator's Noose, The Fadefields
Once at Wyclef's Reprieve, the door should simply open for you (if it doesn't, just go around the bend to the left and follow the path down). Enter through Wyclef's Reprieve and jump down to a cliffside that has a crashed moon rock. On a metal box by this crashed moon rock is the Datapad, and now players can follow the path back up to Wyclef's Reprieve by following the east path to activate the Command Console found on the south wall of the Safehouse.
Grey Havenage Safehouse & Datapad Location
How to Get the Grey Havenage Safehouse
- Location: Cuspid Climb, Terminus Range
Once you're at Grey Havenage, look to the southwest side to see a platform that can be grappled up to. From up this high platform, you can use the jetpack to glide across to a middle platform, and then boost again to reach a climbable surface. Once you've climbed to the top, you can grab the Datapad and use the ramp to the north of the Datapad to glide over to the Grey Havenage Safehouse. Inside the now-open Safehouse is the Command Console.
Heritage Opus Safehouse & Datapad Location
How to Get the Heritage Opus Safehouse
- Location: Cuspid Climb, Terminus Range
At Heritage Outpost, players will need to loop to the right to find a wall that they can climb, and then take an immediate left to follow the area around and fight through the Order forces. Players can keep climbing this spiral Safehouse with a grapple hook, where they will eventually face a bell tower. Just before the bell tower is some boxes that players can stand on to then double jump and glide to the bell tower roof to grab the Datapad. Now, the building to the left of the bell tower will be open, and players can walk up the stairs to claim the Command Console.
The Nightcap Safehouse & Datapad Location
How to Get the Nightcap Safehouse
- Location: Windspear, Terminus Range
The Nightcap can be located within a large crevice inside the mountain's opening, and once inside, players can jump up to a platform, where on the right is a wall that they can climb. Climb to the top of this wall and jump with a glide from the jetpack to reach another platform that contains the Datapad. This opens up the Safehouse, where players can enter and claim the Command Console.
Snowy Wells Safehouse & Datapad Location
How to Get the Snowy Wells Keep Safehouse
- Location: Stoneblood Forest, Terminus Range
Snowy Wells requires a bit of a climb, as players will want to look to the west side of this mountain range to grapple up. Continue following the path and using the grapple points provided to reach the locked Safehouse. Players can then grapple to the left of the main door and then grapple the water tower, where they can drop down and glide across to another building that has the Datapad. Simply glide back to the main doors of the Safehouse and follow the door around to the left to find the Command Console that's outside, which will open up the Safehouse for use.
Makeshift Chalet Safehouse & Datapad Location
How to Get the Makeshift Chalet Safehouse
- Location: Lopside, Carcadia Burn
Once you reach the Makeshift Chalet, venture to the left side of the area to find a steep drop down the rocky cliffs, where, at the bottom, you'll find the Datapad. You can turn back around and grapple back up to the place you fell from. The Command Console is located at the southwest wall of Makeshift Chalet, just outside the Safehouse.
The Lowrise Safehouse & Datapad Location
How to Get the Lowrise Safehouse
- Location: Tonnage Peel, Carcadia Burn
Once players have made it to the Lowrise, they will want to use a grapple hook in the destroyed pipe to stand on top of it. From here, follow around to the right and use your grapple hook until you make it to the top of the rock. Once you're on the top, head north to locate the Datapad. With the Datapad acquired, head to the southwest side of the platform you are currently on to locate the Command Console to claim this land as a Safehouse.
Wildhorn's Beard Safehouse & Datapad Location
How to Get the Wildhorn's Beard Safehouse
- Location: Ruined Sumplands, Carcadia Burn
Once you've reached Wildhorn's Beard, you can loop behind the large rock and follow the stairs upwards to find a boat that contains the Datapad, along with a few deadly Kratch enemies. With the Datapad now acquired, head north of Wildhorn's Beard to find the Command Console within the central Safehouse area.
The Food Court Safehouse & Datapad Location
How to Get the Food Court Safehouse
- Location: Terminus District, Dominion City
Once players make it to the Terminus District of Dominion City, they will want to head left to The Food Court. In the northeast area of this place, there is a trash heap with a corpse and the Datapad that players seek. With your back to the trash heap, look to the right to find the Command Console, but beware of the Rippers that have claimed this area as a temporary home.
Sumpview Falls Safehouse & Datapad Location
How to Get the Sumpview Falls Safehouse
- Location: Fades District, Dominion City
The Fades District holds a Safehouse in the center of this region. Players will want to drop down to Sumpview Falls, where on the east wall is a ladder that can be climbed to discover the Datapad. With this Datapad acquired, turn around to the north to find the Command Console. Watch out for the Ripper and Order forces who are in the heat of battle here.
