GenIVIV might be down in the dumps (literally), but Vault Hunters can call upon Claptrap to help her find a new body. What awaits is a love story that doesn't last long, as Claptrap decides that having a girl obsess over him is worse than having no girl at all. Their quick relationship is hilarious, their banter is masterful, and GenIVIV's killing spree is as violent as ever.
Flat Kairoser
Convince a Man That Kairos is Not Flat
- Location: Cuspid Climb, Terminus Range
Is there anything more frustrating than debating or arguing with someone who just isn't getting it? That's exactly where Flat Kairoser comes in, as the Vault Hunters manage to find Sam, a man who believes that Kairos is not in fact round, but flat. Sam cannot be convinced, and Vault Hunters are going to have to kill if they want to prove their point, but will Sam ever come around, or will he be too stubborn to believe he's living on the edge of a flat planet? This mission is as funny as it is frustrating, as Sam's personality and obnoxious beliefs are all too real.

Crack This Guy's Back
Become Kairos' Only Chiropractor
- Location: Sainted Cup, Stoneblood Forest, Terminus Range
Vault Hunters are all about breaking bones, not mending them, but why not give it a go? Crack This Guy's Back is a very quick side mission, but unforgettable in hilarity. Players are tasked with cracking a man's back for him, except every time they do, he seems to want more and more until it's pretty clear that he's just a straight-up sadist. Players will need to find more violent and creative ways to crack his back, and they get funnier each time.
AAA for Effort
Help Max Sky Find His Passion Again
- Location: Terminus District, Dominion City
Vault Hunters can find a man trapped within his self-made space mech, deep within a facility inside Dominion. This man has the passion and the confidence to carry him to space and beyond, but being trapped in this mech has made him lose his identity. AAA for Effort has players assist Max Sky follow his dreams to leave Kairos behind and ascend to the stars in his space suit, so what are you waiting for? Go out there and help a man achieve his dreams! This side mission is chuckle-worthy simply because of Max Sky's loud personality, which is reminiscent of Mr. Torgue.
Wayward Gun
Stop AI-Enhanced Tediore Guns, Pokemon Style
- Location: Dusk's Advent, Cuspid Climb, Terminus Range
Tediore has always been affordable, but their recent investment in AI has backfired, causing their guns to rise up and begin a gunpocalypse that will see their previous owners killed. Vault Hunters are tasked with finding and killing these walking and talking guns, but they can actually catch them all like they're in some twisted version of Pokemon. Not only will players fight a parody of Team Rocket's Jesse and James, but players will also wage a one-Vault Hunter war on an army of sentient guns.
Ready to Blow
Convince a Lone Missile That She's Not a Dud, But a Firework
- Location: Idolator's Noose, the Fadefields
Ready to Blow is more wholesome than it is funny, as players will find themselves in a small town where the centerpiece is the AI core of a bomb that never detonated. This bomb has one dream: to realize that she wasn't a dud, and that she can explode with the right shell. Players can team up with this AI to help her achieve the one thing she wants, which results in a beautiful spectacle. While it's not laugh-out-loud funny, it will still put a smile on your face to do the right thing.
Sage Against the Machine
Take Guidance and Therapy from a Ripper Psycho
- Location: Stoneblood Forest, Terminus Range
If there is anyone you shouldn't take advice from, it's a Ripper. Rippers are psychos, those who have removed their Bolts to gain freedom at the cost of their sanity, but something seems different about this guy. This Ripper has dedicated his own life to being a life coach, and he might be able to teach the Vault Hunters a few lessons about calmness, stillness, and their place in the world. It's funny to hear such enlightenment come from a murderous Ripper, and the ending is more than worth the admission.
The Power Ballad of Rodd Vomit
Assemble a Talented Band of Rippers
- Location: The Couch Hole, Grindstone of the Worthy, Carcadia Burn
What happens when you combine the most dangerous Rippers in Carcadia Burn? Well, you obviously get an epic heavy metal band capable of bringing Kairos to the number one spot on the charts! Thrum Dumpster is in need of new talent, and Vault Hunters are tasked with replacing Rodd Vomit by finding a new band with some pretty deranged Rippers. While one might think that these Rippers together can go on a murder spree, they might be pleasantly surprised, and even serenaded by the talent that they unleash.

Play a Practical Joke on Brotherly Rippers
- Location: Wallowing Heights, Lopside, Carcadia Burn
A Ripper beckons Vault Hunters to aid him, not for some bizarre scheme involving death, but involving innocent little pranks. It's quite sweet to see a strong Ripper decide that he wants to get up to innocent mischief instead of killing other people, so why not indulge in the cheekiness by helping two Ripper brothers play pranks on each other?
Sum of His Parts
Rebuild Claptrap and Ensure He Never Learns That Actions Have Consequences
- Location: Racketrun, Idolator's Noose, the Fadefields
Oh, Claptrap, he just can't seem to learn from his mistakes, and no wonder, since Vault Hunters are always at the ready to help him. Sum of His Parts begins with Claptrap's body completely separated, and players will find his eye in the garbage. It's time to put Claptrap together to assemble his body and assemble the story of why someone would do this to him, even if that means killing far more people than Claptrap could possibly be worth. The reason for Claptrap's disassembling is hilarious, and his complete lack of filter always makes him a barrel of laughs.
