Farming bosses is a key part of Borderlands 4, and few bosses are as annoying as Bramblesong. This giant flying boss is not only one of the most frustrating encounters in Borderlands 4, but there's also a chance for your loot to fall off a ledge and despawn to make things even worse.

If you're not hunting for any of its dedicated legendary drops, then you can just ignore Bramblesong after you've cleared the Auger Mine that it's guarding. Some of its weapons, however, are cornerstones of specific builds. Here's how to find and farm Bramblesong in Borderlands 4.

Borderlands 4: Rocken Roller Boss Guide and Legendary Drops

Rocken Roller is an optional boss in Borderlands 4, and this challenging encounter can reward you with some incredibly strong legendary gear.

Borderlands 4 Bramblesong Location

Bramblesong is located in the Bittervein Auger Mine, found in the northern part of the Stoneblood Forest region of Terminus Range in Borderlands 4. Auger Mines are unlocked after completing the Shadow of the Mountain main quest, the first story mission in Terminus Range.

Once you've made it far enough in the story, you can challenge Bramblesong at the Bittervein Auger Mine whenever you're ready. The mine is filled with flying Kratches, so bring a long-range weapon like an assault rifle or sniper to deal with them. After some parkour to climb through the mine, you'll reach Bramblesong's boss arena.

Bramblesong Header

Bramblesong is a gigantic Kratch that fires corrosive acid from its tail. It won't land during the fight, so close-range weapons are ineffective. It also has two health bars, both of which are weak to fire damage. It's a straightforward duel, and there are smaller Kratches flying around the arena that you can use to pick yourself up if you go down.

Bramblesong Legendary Drops

Bramblesong Drops

Bramblesong has two dedicated legendary drops in Borderlands 4.

Legendary

Description

Convergence Shotgun

Asymptotic: On hit, spawn converging projectiles on enemy.

Disco Grenade

Groove: Spins and deals AOE damage before exploding.

Convergence is one of the best legendary shotguns in Borderlands 4, and it can roll with multiple types of elemental damage and licensed weapon parts. Because of this, it can fit into any build. The Disco grenade is also surprisingly strong. It deals repeated AOE damage while it floats through the air, making it perfect for crowd control.

If your drops fall off the ledge and despawn after fighting Bramblesong, check your Lost Loot. It can take a while for the machine to update with new gear, though.

Legendaries are exceptionally rare, so you'll have to hope you get lucky when farming Bramblesong if you want a specific roll for Convergence or Disco. Thankfully, you won't have to worry about Bramblesong after you get your desired drop. At least, not until you need to unlock Ultimate Vault Hunter 5 in Borderlands 4.
