Borderlands 4 fans have noticed a big problem when farming for Legendary Class Mods in the game. It seems as though when farming Legendary Class Mods, Borderlands 4 players are far less likely to receive one for the class that they're playing as.
Although the game's release is still fresh, players have wasted absolutely no time finding the best loot farms in Borderlands 4. Many gamers have already finished up the majority of the game's content, and are now at the stage where they're able to farm bosses over and over again, hoping for the best loot drops. However, when it comes to Legendary Class Mods, something has felt off for players.

Borderlands 4 Legendary Class Mod Drops Are Weighted Against Your Class
A recent Reddit post by user Mr_Rafi has highlighted some test results from Borderlands 4 YouTuber Dantics, showcasing the current problems with farming Legendary Class Mods. To do so, they farmed Borderlands 4's Callis, the Ripper Queen boss 100 times with both Rafa and Harlowe, noting down the Legendary Class Mods they received. When playing as Rafa, they received just two Rafa Legendary Class Mods, quite a distance from the next lowest of 10 for Vex. While farming Callis, the Ripper Queen as Harlowe, they were dropped only a single Legendary Harlowe Class Mod, and actually received 15 for Rafa.
The responses in the thread were clear, with most players agreeing that Borderlands 4 Legendary Class Mod drops should be weighted in favor of the class that is being played. Even an approximate equal split between the four classes would be adequate, with one user highlighting that Borderlands 3 faced the same issue before it was eventually addressed.
While this issue is understandably frustrating for players, it's unclear how much of a priority it will be for Gearbox. Borderlands 4's recent indefinite delay on Nintendo Switch 2 and its ongoing performance issues on all platforms suggest that the developer may have bigger problems to solve. Hopefully, the studio can find a quick resolution to this issue, and players can feel more satisfied when grinding out those Legendary Class Mods.
