Borderlands 4 has teamed with Discord to bring players an easy-to-complete quest that will grant them a SHiFT Code for 1 Golden Key to use in-game. This SHiFT Code is completely unique to you, so you won't be able to use our list of active SHiFT Codes found here for this one. All that's required for this quest is for you to have your SHiFT Account associated with the platform that you play Borderlands 4 on, as well as a Discord Account (both sign-up links have been provided). Below, players will be able to see a step-by-step of how to claim the quest, how to complete it, and how to claim their reward.

This quest will expire on September 25, 2025.

How to Claim & Complete the Discord Quest for Borderlands 4

For this quest, players are going to need a Discord Account and a SHiFT Account. They will also need the login information to their chosen platform, whether that's PC, Xbox, or PlayStation. With all this information at the ready, log in to Discord and check out the step-by-step guide below:

  • Once you've logged in to Discord, click the Discover icon at the bottom left of the page.
  • Select Quests and scroll to locate "Borderlands 4 Looter Quest", and click "Accept Quest".
  • Click "Select a platform to get started" and choose either Desktop or Console from the drop-down menu, depending on which platform you are playing Borderlands 4 on.
  • Add Connection for your PlayStation or Xbox Account (this is automatic for PC players).
  • Play Borderlands 4 for 15 minutes and click "Claim Reward" on the Discord Quest tab to receive your unique SHiFT Code.
  • Click Rewards on the SHiFT web page and enter your one-time-use code to claim your reward.

Remember, the SHiFT Code that you receive is unique to you and has a one-time use, so it cannot be redeemed by multiple people. As such, you should not share this SHiFT Code with anyone or else you will lose the reward.
