As one of the four Vault Hunters that Borderlands 4 players can pick from at launch, Vex is the fourth playable Siren in the series. Unlike previous Siren characters, Vex's powers have taken a darker appearance that matches her rough and pessimistic personality. In Borderlands 4, Vex can use phase energy to buff herself or use it to summon various phase minions to assist her in combat or take damage for her. When coupled with various guns of different elemental types, Vex's minions and self-sustaining traits make her one of the best Vault Hunters for Borderlands 4 players to play solo with.

One optional Borderlands 4 feature makes a big difference in the title's gameplay, so both new and old fans of the franchise will want to turn it on.

Borderlands 4 Player Shares Incredibly Detailed Vex Cosplay

Despite the issues that plagued Borderlands 4's launch, a content creator shared a glimpse of a new cosplay dedicated to one of its characters. A French content creator named Cinderys posted her cosplay of Vex on social media, with a focus on some of its intricately detailed parts. In her Twitter post, Cinderys' photo was taken from the chest up, with a focus on Vex's face and jacket. A wig was used for Vex's black and purple hairstyle, and various materials were used for different parts of her outfit. On Instagram, Cinderys stated that Vex's Siren wings needed a counterweight of 50 kg, or 110 lbs, to remain stable. Cinderys stated that more pictures and videos of the Vex cosplay would be posted soon.

Cinderys stated that Vex's wings were made with pieces of foam, cardboard, and PVC pipes. Given that Vex is one of the more intricate character designs in Borderlands 4, the attention to detail makes Cinderys' cosplay of the Dark Siren all the more impressive. In her post, Cinderys stated she plans to stream Borderlands 4 on her Twitch channel on September 14 while wearing her Vex cosplay. In response, the official Borderlands Twitter feed complimented Cinderys for her effort.

Other fans compared the Vex cosplay to an in-game screenshot rather than an actual outfit, with some admitting that they had to make doubly sure it was the latter. With Borderlands 4 working on post-launch content, it remains to be seen what new Vault Hunters fans will cosplay next.
