Easter Egg Weapons have been part of the Borderlands franchise since the first game, and Borderlands 4 has a ton of these incredible weapons to try, like the Noisy Cricket Pistol, made in the likeness of that nasty handgun that Agent 'J' from Men in Black always carries around. If you want to disintegrate your foes with a powerful energy blast, then this small but deadly weapon is for you.

For those unfamiliar with the Men in Black franchise, the Noisy Cricket is the legendary weapon used by Will Smith (Agent J) as his first weapon in the MIB movie from 1997. Easily underestimated by its compact size, but lethal as few guns in the series. So, if players are ready to blast their foes away, this guide will provide information on how to farm the Noisy Cricket in Borderlands 4, as well as information on its stats, damage, and particular qualities.

Where to get Men in Black Noisy Cricket in Borderlands 4

Noisy Cricket Location Borderlands 4

To get the Noisy Cricket, players need to challenge and defeat a particular boss in the Fadefields named Sidney Pointylegs at the Ripper Drill Site in the Prospects, located north-east of the Hungering Plains. Players can consult the exact spot by checking this full interactive map of Kairos. This spot can be farmed using the Moxxi's Big Encore feature, though players will need to pay a hefty sum each time they challenge the boss again.

The Noisy Cricket has a lot of stopping power, reaching notable amounts of damage and also causing a blast in a huge radius (400 cm), destroying enemies' shields, armor, and flesh. It can only fire once per reload, and consumes 2 Pistol ammo per shot, although its reload time is quite fast (1.2 seconds). Noisy Cricket, honoring the gun from MIB's Agent J, kicks back its user a few meters after firing the shot, which also serves another purpose: dodging certain attacks from melee enemies (if players time the shots properly).

All in all, it's a fun gun to toy with, though learning how to handle it properly can take some time, since it only has a 57% Accuracy rate. After all, it's one of the most dangerous weapons in the galaxy. Ideally, players will want to stay at a close range, since the Noisy Cricket does have certain limitations, and its precision is highly reduced at long distances. Though that doesn't mean it cannot be fired at moderate range with decent results, and even land some critical hits (at a 38% rate) when aimed at enemies' weak spots.

There are plenty of Easter Egg Weapons out there to find, like the Ghostbusters Gun, or a weapon inspired by Aegon Targaryen from Game of Thrones. Some of these weapons could be considered 'broken', but they're still a lot of fun, and there would be no Borderlands games without the zany, funny moments and its awesome weapons that can disintegrate psychos.
