Lost Capsules can be a great source of SDU Tokens and loot, so long as players know what to actually do with them. When players are exploring the regions of Kairos, they might come across a collectible that can't be destroyed and has a seemingly unknown purpose unless players know exactly what to do with it. Below, we'll talk you through what to do with Lost Capsules in Borderlands 4 so you know how to get freebies galore.

What to Do With Lost Capsules in Borderlands 4

Lost Capsules can easily be found by accessing the map and filtering through the Legends to only show the locations of these collectibles. There are 20 Lost Capsules scattered around the different regions of Kairos, and when you find one, you can pick it up either with the grapple hook or by grabbing it. With the Lost Capsule equipped, players will receive dialogue from Claptrap confirming that they have the Lost Capsule. Once players have a Lost Capsule, they can take it to any Safehouse or Faction Town to place it in the Decrypt Station for randomized loot and 15 SDU Tokens. Once you place the Lost Capsule in the Decrypt Station, a bundle of different rarity items and cash will drop.

Pay close attention to your HUD once you pick up the Lost Capsule, as it will direct you to the nearest Safehouse or Faction Town. Also, it's worth noting that you cannot summon a vehicle with the Lost Capsule, as it will instantly despawn the Lost Capsule, and you will be required to go back to where you originally found it. The Lost Capsule is a collectible that requires a bit of a sprint to get it from point A to point B, but the randomized loot and SDU Tokens make it worth it. To make the journey less tedious, be sure to find all Safehouses before grabbing the Lost Capsules.
