There are a lot of weird enemies in Borderlands 4, but Sidney Pointylegs is a special kind of freak. This guy is basically a giant Psycho head attached to a spider-framed robot body, and like the rest of the big bosses you can find in the world, he makes for a good loot piñata.

Borderlands 4: Sidney Pointylegs Location
You can find Sidney Pointylegs in Borderlands 4 by going to The Prospects, one of the game's many Ripper Drill Sites. This one can be found in the Hungering Plain area of the Fadefields region, and it is closest to the Someday Rise Safehouse in Idolator's Noose (which is right across the nearby bridge).
The Prospects is a fairly small bandit camp, and when you clear it for the first time, the Encore machine for Sidney Pointylegs should appear next to the ammo vending machine near the respawn point.
Farming Sidney Pointylegs
- This boss has three health bars that uses all three health types (Shields, Armor, and regular red health).
- If you haven't maxed out your character yet, or if you're yet to make a solid build for farming, we recommend using a Jakobs gun or one with Jakobs parts. Blast his huge head and let the ricocheting bullets deal with the minor enemies.
- The Beam Tosser underbarrel attachment is fairly decent against Sidney due to his large hitbox.
Borderlands 4: Sidney Pointylegs Legendary Drops

Heavy weapon that fires saw blades. Upon hitting an enemym, the blades ricochet towards other enemies, dealing more damage for each enemy that it bounces to. |
Out of all these weapons, the Swarm grenade is arguably the most useful for the majority of builds. Just throw these out, and they'll increase your overall DPS significantly. Swarm grenades can also drop with a variety of parts that give them bonus effects, from healing you on-hit to dealing Radiation damage and more.
The Noisy Cricket and Disc Jockey are decent, but they require very specific builds in order to truly shine. For example, the First Impression skill under Rafa's APOPHIS Lance tree plus Vitriol in the Arc Knives tree will double the damage of every shot you make with the Noisy Cricket. Meanwhile, Amon can get very high uptime with Disc Jockey if you get the Endless Bombardment skill under his Crucible skill tree.
