Gearbox has revealed a brand-new Borderlands SHiFT key that has 70 keys up for grabs to redeem. Right now, players can hop in and claim 50 Golden Keys across various Borderlands games as well as 20 Diamond Keys in Borderlands 3.
Gearbox has been giving away SHiFT codes for Borderlands games for years now. It essentially serves as a reward system for players, giving them in-game keys to open chests and get free powerful loot. SHiFT codes can also unlock new cosmetics on occasion, although that's not the case this time around. With Borderlands 4 just around the corner, Gearbox has given players the opportunity to stock up on loot in the older games in the series.

Borderlands 4 has given a deeper look at all four of its new playable Vault Hunters, though one of them might be facing an uphill battle now.
New PAX West Borderlands SHiFT Code Has 70 Keys Up For Grabs
As revealed at PAX West 2025, there's a new Borderlands SHiFT code available to redeem on the SHiFT website right now: ZFFTJ-RWRZJ-3B333-TTJJ3-XKCSK. This code redeems a massive 50 Golden Keys across "multiple Gearbox games," as well as 20 Diamond Keys for use in Borderlands 3. The "multiple Gearbox games" in question are as follows: Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition, Borderlands 2, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Borderlands 3, and Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.
At the moment, it's not clear how long players will have to redeem the latest Borderlands SHiFT code, so it's worth taking the opportunity while it's there. While codes expire, the rewards don't, so anyone with an interest in possibly replaying the earlier Borderlands games should take advantage of this. While there will eventually be SHiFT codes for Borderlands 4, this latest offering won't give anything in the upcoming release.
Gearbox is currently gearing up to release Borderlands 4 on September 12, offering players a glimpse of everything to expect in the coming weeks and months. This includes revealing Borderlands 4's post-launch roadmap, which includes a mix of free and paid content. After the mixed response to 2019's Borderlands 3, there's a hope that the latest game in the series will be an improvement.
