The Boruto series is enjoying a great stretch at the moment and fans know that both Kishimoto and Ikemoto are doing their best to make the series as exciting as possible. While Boruto and the next generation get their moment of shine, fans are equally excited for the return of Naruto and Sasuke. These two characters are the heart of the Naruto franchise and that is never truly going to change. Thankfully, it appears that their return isn't too far away now, and when they do come back, they have some great powers upgrades at their hand.
Boruto: Kishimoto Officially Confirms New Human Tailed Beasts Stronger Than Jinchuriki
A new human-tailed beast has been revealed, and it's even stronger than a Jinchuriki in Boruto.
As is quite clear in the story, both Naruto and Sasuke lost their biggest powers in the series. However, they will gain something even bigger in return, and that is Scientific Ninja Tools. These tools are looked down upon by most fans, but if used correctly, they can be a huge asset in battle. At the moment, both Naruto and Sasuke are lined up to get these scientific ninja tool upgrades in the story.
Naruto And Sasuke Will Embrace Scientific Ninja Tools After Their Return
Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha lost their biggest powers in the first part of Boruto. In the battle against Isshiki, Naruto lost the power of Kurama, while Sasuke lost his Rinnegan after it was stabbed by Momoshiki. Since then, both of them have been weakened tremendously, which has subsequently led to them being sealed away in different ways.
This power is immense. It should definitely surpass his. But the drawbacks are too great. You see, the fact that it drains our lifespan is the key here. Sasuke Uchiha has already gained a new sword upgrade in the recent Boruto chapter. Even though he remains sealed, his sword has been upgraded. This was all thanks to Boruto, who took Sasuke's sword to Sumire with a scroll from the future that he acquired thanks to Kashin Koji. In this scroll was the way to upgrade the sword with the scientific technology of the future, and now it is stronger than ever before. As mentioned in the last chapter, the sword is sharper and cuts strongly than ever before. It also continuously exudes chakra, preventing it from getting any nicks.
Say Goodbye To Naruto Uzumaki And Sasuke Uchiha For Now
Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha will not be returning anytime soon, and fans should bid them farewell for now in Boruto.
On top of that, it is also quite clear for the fans to see that Sumire built in a special power into the sword that hasn't been seen yet. Since Sasuke's chakra has been registered with it, this sword is most certainly going to be a big upgrade for him.
Naruto Will Likely Gain A New Prosthetic
Just like Sasuke, Naruto is likely to gain a scientific ninja tool as well. Naruto already tried a hand that could absorb chakra at the beginning of the Boruto series and it is likely that he will gain an upgraded version of this hand in the future.

This new prosthetic hand would allow him to absorb chakra as well as expel it in combat, making it similar to Momoshiki's Rinnegan.
Sasuke And Naruto Will Be Top Tier Fighters Again
With these new powers at their disposal, both Naruto and Sasuke will once again be top tier fighters in the future of the story, and that is something fans would love to see.
It is not a surprise to know that both Naruto and Sasuke have been done dirty in the Boruto franchise, all for the sake of the future generations. As such, fans would absolutely love to see both of them return and be strong just as they were in the past.
Following their return, fans hope that Kishimoto and Ikemoto deliver what they have been asking for a very long time now. Naruto and Sasuke deserve to be at the top of their powers and hopefully, that is exactly what fans will get.
