At this point in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, Shikamaru Nara is the acting Hokage of Konoha, but things aren't looking too good for him. Konoha will likely have a change of Hokage very soon, and political conflict between Shikamaru and the Elders and Daimyo of the village is primarily responsible for that. If a change in Hokage was to be made, it is highly likely that Konohamaru Sarutobi will be made the next Hokage of Konoha, and things will only get more exciting from there onwards.

Sasuke has been turned into a tree, and he won't be returning anytime soon in Boruto.
His collaboration with Boruto Uzumaki and his secret connections have called into question his loyalty to Konoha, especially by the Elders and the Daimyo. As such, there arises a big possibility that Konoha will get a new and official 8th Hokage soon. In the case that Shikamaru Nara is dismissed as the acting Hokage of Konoha, fans will most definitely see Konohamaru Sarutobi step in as the Eighth Hokage of the village. Konohamaru is easier to control for the village and even though he vouches for Boruto, he hasn't gotten involved with him just yet. For the village, he might be the best option.

Sarada Will Eventually Become The Hokage

Eventually, however, the only one who will truly become the Hokage in Boruto is Sarada Uchiha. Right now, Sarada is too weak to become the Hokage. She just gained immense power, but it is quite clear that she isn't ready yet. To become Hokage, Sarada needs more experience and, above all, more maturity.
Sarada becoming the next Hokage of the village will most certainly happen, but only at the end of the series. For now, Sarada Uchiha can't rise to this position, and Konohamaru will have to take it on in her stead.
