Sarada Uchiha took fans by surprise in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex after she showcased her tremendous potential in a recent battle with a humanoid God tree. Her time to shine has long been overdue, as Kawaki often sidelines her with his ties to Boruto and the Otsutsuki Clan. Now, things are starting to change, with Sarada taking center stage, being poised to become the strongest Uchiha, possibly surpassing even her legendary father.

In recent chapters of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, Sarada’s character receives a major development after she unlocks the Mangekyo Sharingan: Ohirume. No one expected she’d receive such a powerful ability, but fans believe she deserves it more than anyone else. Sarada’s Next Major Opponent Might Be Hidari

A Possible Rematch Could Happen

Sarada Uchiha might be the strongest kunoichi in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex now, due to her new power-up. Ikemoto finally given what is due to her as she unlocks the Mangekyo Sharingan: Ohirume, unlike anything fans have ever seen before. After all, she is the only one who’s clearly following the traditional shinobi path at the moment, as Boruto and Kawaki grow stronger, mostly because of their extraordinary, out-of-this-world abilities.

However, Sarada remains unconscious in recent chapters after winning against the Shinju Clone Ryu. Her body has yet to acclimate to her new ability, even after she already knew how to use it. Most likely, the Ohirume puts a significant amount of stress on her body, as well as on her chakra reserves, even though she’s an Uchiha. It is still the first time she has gained such a powerful ability, which only makes it natural for her body to experience shock.

Unfortunately, the fighting continues even after Sarada is unconscious and is taken to the rendezvous point of the current mission. While Boruto and Kawaki are fighting toe-to-toe with Jura, she may awaken at some point and face a new opponent. That said, her next major opponent might be a familiar face, someone she dealt with in Konoha in the previous chapters—Hidari.

At this point, it’s safe to assume that Sarada has the necessary skillset to defeat a Shinju Clone again, even if it’s Hidari, whose chakra source is none other than Sasuke Uchiha. Fans have seen them fight in Konoha before, with Sarada using Sharingan and Chidori at the same time, inflicting serious injury to Hidari, leading to his actual demise. However, it’s important to note that Sarada wouldn’t have been able to accomplish this without the help of Boruto and Kawaki at the time.

But with Mangekyo Sharingan: Ohirume, Sarada could repeat the same attack and torture she did to Ryu to overpower Hidari. She could instantly outmaneuver Hidari by taking advantage of Ohirume’s fatal effects. If she can use Ohirume without any trouble, she has a strong chance of defeating Hidari in a solo match. This technique is Sarada’s current trump card, which she could use to catch her next opponent by surprise.

Of course, Hidari still has a fighting chance against Sarada, since he’s a fast learner, capable of absorbing his opponent’s techniques, albeit ineffective at first. He might take Sarada by surprise with a new ability, possibly mastering the same Mangekyo Sharingan or the dual Rinnegan he possesses in a battle of dojutsu.

Boruto fans know that when a Shinju Clone is defeated, a thorn soul bulb suddenly emerges. For now, the thorn soul bulb is the only known key to free the characters who have been turned into a tree and become a chakra source for the Shinju clones. That said, if Sarada defeats Hidari, she could be the only shinobi who could immediately free Sasuke with Hidari’s thorn soul bulb.

If so, Sasuke’s return might be closer than fans think, as Sarada’s next opponent might truly be Hidari. With Jura busy fighting Boruto and Kawaki at the same time, Hidari might head onto the battlefield and provide support. At this point, Sarada might regain consciousness and engage with Hidari, while Mitsuki and Konohamaru deal with Mamushi, who’s also speculated to go into battle. As usual, all of these remain speculations, so fans will have to wait for new chapter releases of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex.
