This article contains spoilers from Boruto: Two Blue Vortex.
Summary
- Boruto Uzumaki's peak strength falls short of defeating Jura.
- Naruto Uzumaki remains stronger, able to counter Boruto's techniques.
- Uzuhiko is ineffective against Naruto's Six Paths Powers.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 22 dropped recently, and it must be said that this month's chapter was incredibly exciting, to say the least, even if it felt rather short due to all the action. Fans got to see Boruro Uzumaki finally trade blows with Jura, the strongest of the Shinju, and in doing so, Ikemoto confirmed a lot of exciting things to Boruto fans.
Boruto: Kishimoto Has Already Teased Sarada's Most Overpowered Ability
Sarada has a great Mangekyo Sharingan ability, but she is only going to get more powerful from here onwards in Boruto TBV.
For one, fans finally saw what the limits of Boruto Uzumaki are, as a fighter. At the same time, fans also got a good look at Boruto's abilities, and it became clear that he is, indeed, still inferior to his father, Naruto Uzumaki, before he lost Kurama.
Boruto Uzumaki's Peak Is Revealed
- Boruto Uzumaki Could Fight Jura
- Uzuhiko Is Boruto's Strongest Technique
Boruto Uzumaki is a very strong fighter and fans know that already. He trained with Sasuke for about a year, and then, trained his abilities further with Kashin Koji. With Koji’s help, he learned a ton of powerful abilities, and even invented his own version of the Flying Thunder God Jutsu. Boruto is, undoubtedly, very powerful, even without tapping into the Karma. However, fans know for a fact that he isn't strong enough to defeat Jura.

In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 22, Boruto Uzumaki fought against Jura, and it was quite clear for the fans to see that his best wasn't enough. Boruto ultimately relied on the usage of Uzuhiko, which, although felt it would work, eventually failed. The manner in which Uzuhiko failed confirms to the fans that Naruto Uzumaki, with his Six Paths Powers, is still far stronger than Boruto. This is something that many fans doubted, but with the recent showing of Boruto Uzumaki, it has now become evident.
Naruto At His Full Power Is Still Stronger Than Boruto
Naruto Can Counter Uzuhiko Without Trouble
If Boruto and Naruto are directly compared, then it is obvious that their strongest techniques need to be taken into consideration as well. Boruto Uzumaki’s strongest technique, to Uzuhiko, however, is not going to work against Naruto. This was proven in the story by Jura, who understood the nature of Uzuhiko and compared it to a Tailed Beast Ball. Since they are similar Jutsu in how they're created, Jura could cancel Uzuhiko. In other words, Naruto Uzumaki can easily cancel Uzuhiko when Kurama is with him, but even without, since he is one of the strongest Rasengan users in the world.

Boruto: Kishimoto Reveals The Biggest Weakness Of Rasengan Uzuhiko
Rasengan Uzuhiko is Boruto's strongest ability. It however has one fatal weakness.
Without Uzuhiko, Boruto isn't all that strong. When compared to Six Paths Naruto, Boruto pales in comparison, and Baryon Mode Naruto is miles ahead. Naruto may not be playing an important role in One Piece right now, but fans already know that he is still a monster.
If and when Naruto Uzumaki returns, fans know that he's going to be incredibly powerful, even if he is without Kurama. For now, however, Naruto remains in the dimension of Daikokuten, which simply means that fans have to wait for him to come back and affect the plot in any significant way.
