As fans know, Sasuke Uchiha has been turned into a tree in Boruto, which, although unbelievable to the ears, is actually true. That said, Sasuke won't be away from the story forever, and when he does return, he will most certainly have big power-ups lined up for himself, which will be incredibly exciting in more ways than one.

The Mangekyo Sharingan Is Sasuke's Biggest Power Right Now

When it comes to Sasuke's current arsenal, fans know very well that he only has the Mangekyo Sharingan. His left eye held the Rinnegan, and it was quite clearly his biggest power. Unfortunately, Sasuke Uchiha lost this eye after the battle against Isshiki Otsutsuki. When he least expected it, Sasuke's eye was stabbed by Momoshiki Otsutsuki, who had taken over Boruto Uzumaki. This essentially marked an end to Sasuke Uchiha's biggest power, and fans couldn't believe it.

Since then, Sasuke has lost all importance in Boruto, and his biggest power remains to be the Mangekyo Sharingan, which isn't all that impressive, given how it compares to the Rinnegan. However, Sasuke could be in line for some big power-ups in Boruto.

I realize that Boruto started as a sequel to Naruto, but due to Naruto's massive presence, it's been a pretty tough road to travel. Boruto has finally emerged as a proper protagonist in his own right. But will he be a hero on the same level as his father? Or maybe even surpass him? To be honest... I'm not entirely sure what'll happen, myself. That'll depend on the support of our readers, so please keep on cheering for us. —Ikemoto

Sasuke Could Gain Six Paths Powers Again

Right now, Sasuke's Mangekyo Sharingan is his biggest power. However, in the future, Sasuke will need something even bigger to fight the foes that exist in the Boruto world. This is practically a guarantee. Fans know very well that Sasuke Uchiha won't be sidelined forever. At the same time, it is also quite clear that the level of enemies is only going to rise in Boruto. As such, Sasuke has to return stronger, and there's no other way around it.

This could only be achieved by Sasuke gaining the Rinnegan once again. Now, the author could go about it in two ways. Sasuke could, perhaps, gain his old Rinnegan first. This could be made possible if Eida uses Omnipotence and reverses what Momoshiki did to his eye. It is entirely possible after she gains full control over her powers. The second possibility is more exciting, and it could give Sasuke a new Rinnegan.

Sasuke's New Rinnegan Could Be Broken

As fans know, the Shinju exist currently in Boruto, and all of them have access to the Rinnegan, thanks to the Ten Tails. Sasuke's Rinnegan could very well be derived from this Ten-Tails or its chakra. It would serve as the perfect way to bring him back to relevance so that fans could once again see him team up with Naruto Uzumaki and fight side by side with his student, Boruto Uzumaki.
