This article contains spoilers from the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex finally gives its titular protagonist, Boruto Uzumaki, a chance to regain his footing after his intense clash with Jura in the Land of the Wind. Clearly, he still lacks the strength and power necessary to defeat the strongest villain, but fans know that he will eventually grow stronger. He is, after all, Naruto’s son and one of the most overpowered characters with tremendous potential in Boruto.

However, Boruto growing stronger is easier said than done. While Boruto gained impressive strength in such a short amount of time, he is still up against an enemy with near-godlike abilities. To surpass Jura, Boruto Uzumaki needs a new form as soon as possible. Thankfully, Kishimoto has already laid the groundwork for Boruto’s powerful new form in Two Blue Vortex.

Boruto Is Weaker Than Jura

Boruto Fails to Defeat Jura in Land of the Wind

Featured Naruto: Ikemoto Drops A Massive Hint About Boruto's Power
  • Jura is still untouchable in Boruto.
  • Despite Boruto's power upgrades, he is still weaker than Jura.

Boruto Uzumaki has come a long way. He’s not the same arrogant, inconsiderate, and mischievous ninja anymore, but a more mature, disciplined, and determined shinobi shaped by responsibility and hardship. The world has been ruthless to Boruto since the day he defeated Momoshiki, especially now that the Otsutsuki prophecy has come true, losing everything, including his family, in the process.

Still, the writers of Two Blue Vortex have been generous in giving Boruto power-ups one after another. His variant of Rasengan, Uzuhiko, is one of the strongest, and his version of the Flying Thunder God Technique has been useful and efficient in battles. Despite these new upgrades, Boruto still falls short against Jura. Without using the powers of karma, Boruto was helpless, though he deserves credit for holding his own against Jura before Kawaki’s arrival.

While Boruto makes it out alive in his clash with Jura in the Land of the Wind, he must find a way to defeat him sooner or later, or else things might turn for the worst. If he remains satisfied with his current power level, losing will be inevitable. Fans know that Boruto’s next steps could decide whether he survives long enough to protect the people he loves or whether he ends up dead at the hands of Jura.

Perfect Vessel Boruto Might Be Coming

Boruto Wants Momoshiki’s Power

  • Boruto wants to use Momoshiki's power to defeat Jura.
  • Boruto needs to unlock a new form or power-up to grow stronger.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 25 teased its readers with Boruto Uzumaki’s new plan to defeat Jura. As expected, the plan isn’t without risks, but it may push Boruto to unlock a new form. Boruto wants to work with Momoshiki Otsutsuki, an idea that completely shocks readers given their very hostile relationship to this day. Still, if this plan works and the deal goes smoothly, it’s safe to assume that Boruto will eventually become the perfect vessel.

In the past, Boruto and Momoshiki often clashed, as their encounters were filled with tension, uneasy cooperation, and betrayal. Momoshiki desperately wants to control Boruto and take over his body for the evilest intentions, while Boruto refuses to surrender his mind and body at the same time. Now, they have a chance to work together, combining their powers in a way that could allow Boruto to defeat Jura.

Fans have seen how powerful Boruto was when Momoshiki was in full control, but what more might he achieve if he became the perfect vessel? This new form could push Boruto’s abilities beyond anything fans have seen before in Two Blue Vortex. Unless Momoshiki refuses Boruto’s proposal, their unexpected alliance might be the solution to the conflict with Jura.

Boruto Should Master the Full Power of Karma

As much as possible, Boruto avoids activating his karma to keep Momoshiki Otsutsuki in check. He dislikes relying on its powers, even though they grant him a level of strength far beyond his own. Every time karma activates, there’s a risk that Momoshiki will control Boruto’s body and use it for the most destructive purposes. Even a momentary lapse in Boruto’s focus could cost him the safety of his loved ones.

Because of this, fans are expecting to witness the day when Boruto has full mastery of Karma. Such a moment could turn Boruto’s toughest battles around, especially if Momoshiki lends his full power without trying to betray him. However, for now, all these possibilities remain, as Boruto and Momoshiki still want to kill each other in Two Blue Vortex.
