Boruto: Kishimoto Had Already Hinted At Sarada's Mangekyo Sharingan Ability Long Ago
Sarada has the most powerful Mangekyo Sharingan ability in Boruto. This power was foreshadowed by Kishimoto.
Having continued for almost a decade now, Boruto has delivered some of the most developments in the story to the fans, and at the same time, introduced some very powerful characters. In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, Kishimoto has introduced fans to some very overpowered ninjas, such as Boruto Uzumaki and Sarada Uchiha. However, the strongest ninja of all time might not be one from the new generation, at least not yet.

When it comes to the upcoming generation of ninjas, fans know that two characters stand out the most, those being Boruto Uzumaki, the protagonist of the series, and with him, Sarada Uchiha, Sasuke's daughter. Boruto Uzumaki wasn't all that special at the beginning, although he still had a high aptitude for ninjutsu.

It was only after he received the Karma from Momoshiki Otsutsuki that Boruto was able to take his skill to the next level. Things got especially exciting during the timeskip, where Boruto Uzumaki learned Jutsu from Sasuke Uchiha and after his sealing, from Kashin Koji. Right now, Boruto Uzumaki is, undoubtedly, one of the strongest ninjas in the world, strong enough to even take down the likes of the Shinju.
Sarada Uchiha, on the other hand, is yet another contender for being the strongest ninja right now. Sarada's Mangekyo Sharingan recently reawakened, and it is this ability that has pushed her to the next level. Sarada has the power of Ohirume, with which she can create multiple black holes and control gravity so powerful that her enemies can get crushed in a single attack. Sarada Uchiha has impressed fans with her display against Ryu, and she's certainly up there with the strongest ninjas of all time.
Naruto Uzumaki Is Still The Strongest Seen In Boruto
The Baryon Mode Gives Naruto An Unimaginable Edge
While Boruto Uzumaki with his Uzuhiko, and Sarada with her Ohirume are both very impressive, fans know that they still don't compare to Naruto Uzumaki in his Baryon Mode. Out of all the ninjas that fans have seen in Boruto, none can compete with Naruto Uzumaki. Granted, the Baryon Mode was a temporary power-up for Naruto Uzumaki, and the price he had to pay for it was too steep. However, in that particular moment, Naruto Uzumaki was utterly unstoppable. Naruto's strength rose so dramatically that he was able to match Isshiki, the strongest Boruto character, in combat.

'He Should've Died A Long Time Ago': Boruto Author Ikemoto Reveals A Major Character With The Biggest Death Flag
Some characters in Boruto have major death flags, and that includes some fan favorite characters from the original Naruto series.
In fact, not only was Naruto able to match Isshiki, but his overall power was even greater than that of the Otsutsuki, as confirmed directly by Sasuke. In that moment, Naruto was unstoppable and no character in the story could've beaten him. Unfortunately, this power-up was temporary, meaning that Naruto will never hit the same heights as a ninja again. Still, his display against Isshiki Otsutsuki was absolutely stunning and fans can't wait to see him return to weave his magic once again.
Will Naruto Be Surpassed?
Right now, it seems both Boruto and Sarada are far away from surpassing Naruto Uzumaki. However, fans don't know exactly how strong they'll get when they grow to their prime. It is safe to say that there is a chance for these two to surpass Naruto Uzumaki's Baryon Mode in the future, although nothing can be said for sure. Naruto has set the bar a bit too high for most to reach, but there are some who will most certainly come close to him, that is, unless Naruto Uzumaki gains yet another power-up when he does return from Daikokuten eventually.
Out of all the ninjas, Boruto and Sarada will most definitely come the closest, with the latter being a direct successor to Naruto Uzumaki as Hokage, and the former protecting the world that she creates, just as Sasuke Uchiha does with Naruto Uzumaki.
