This article contains spoilers for the Boruto series.
Sarada Uchiha is known to be the main heroine of the Boruto series, and that is absolutely no secret. Fans know her to be incredibly powerful, especially now, in the Two Blue Vortex series. Sarada might've been somewhat disappointing in the first part of Boruto, but it seems the author has taken notice of how her character suffered in the first part, and has decided to mend that.
Naruto's Replacement Anime Is Coming In 2026, And It Will Surpass Boruto
Boruto is Naruto's official sequel, but it isn't too well-liked. This new series, however, could replace Naruto
Right now, Sarada is central to some of the biggest plot points in the Boruto series, and fans know very well that her role will only get bigger as the story continues. That said, strong as she is, Sarada isn't the mightiest female character in the franchise, and she has a long way to go before she can even get there.
Sarada Uchiha Is The Strongest Female Character In Boruto Right Now
- Sarada Recently Awakened The Mangekyo Sharingan
- Sarada Can Use Ohirume
It is no surprise to know that Sarada Uchiha is the strongest female character in the Boruto series right now. After all, there aren't too many that are even present to drive the story forward right now. Alongside Sarada Uchiha, there was Matsuri, who had officially been taken down already. There is also Eida, but her powers don't work on Sarada and she can't even control them, to begin with.
It might have just awakened but I know exactly what it does. — Sarada Uchiha
As such, right now, Sarada Uchiha is the strongest female ninja that there is in Boruto. In the Land of Wind, Sarada gained a massive power-up in the form of the Mangekyo Sharingan. As fans know already, Sarada Uchiha is one of the main characters, so it only makes sense that just like the other main characters, she grows tremendously strong as well. Sarada gained the power of the Mangekyo Sharingan, which allowed her to create black holes with a technique known as Ohirume. With this power, Sarada could crush even someone as strong as Ryu. That said, she still isn't the strongest in the story.
I realize that Boruto started as a sequel to Naruto, but due to Naruto's massive presence, it's been a pretty tough road to travel. Boruto has finally emerged as a proper protagonist in his own right. But will he be a hero on the same level as his father? Or maybe even surpass him? To be honest... I'm not entirely sure what'll happen, myself. That'll depend on the support of our readers, so please keep on cheering for us. —Ikemoto
Sarada Cannot Beat Kaguya Otsutsuki
Kaguya Still Stands On Top As The Strongest
While there is no denying the fact that Sarada Uchiha is incredibly powerful, fans should also keep in mind that she is still nowhere close to the level of the Otsutsuki. Sarada Uchiha doesn't stand a chance against the real strongest female character in the franchise, Kaguya Otsutsuki.
Those eyes... They're unmistakable. The Mangekyo Sharingan! — Mitsuki
Boruto: Kishimoto Reveals A New Eye In The Boruto Series, And It's Stronger Than The Rinnegan
The Rinnegan is strong, but it's far from the most powerful eye in Boruto.
For those who don't remember, Kaguya was Isshiki's partner who even managed to injure him severely. She even managed to eat the chakra fruit and only got stronger. Kaguya Otsutsuki was so strong that even Hagoromo alone couldn't defeat her. Sarada is absolutely no match for her, and that's a fact.
Kaguya's Power Is On A Whole Different Level
While Sarada isn't comparable to Kaguya right now, nobody knows what the future holds. It is possible that Sarada will gain great power-ups in the future and go on to reach the same level as the strongest Otsutsukis in the world. If that were to happen, Sarada could be even stronger than Kaguya. But for now, that's not the case.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex's chapter 27 is set for its official release on October 19, 2025. The release time of the chapter is 10 AM EST/ 3 PM UTC. As always, fans can read the chapter officially for free on the Manga Plus and the Shonen Jump apps.
