Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is gearing up for an exciting new arc, as the manga builds toward an epic battle involving a humanoid God Tree and a cyborg in Konoha. Once again, Kishimoto and Ikemoto are cooking up major developments that could change everything fans know about the God Trees and the Otsutsuki Clan, as well as their extraordinary abilities.

Just recently, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 27 raised grim death flags for a major character, hinting that a devastating loss may be on the horizon. Kashin Koji, who fans know can see visions of the future through prescience, has confirmed the rise of a new calamity, one that could claim the life of a crucial individual and forever change the situation in Konoha.

Eida Might Not Survive What’s Coming in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex

Following the intense showdown in the Land of the Wind, Boruto’s main characters are now regrouping to face another threat, as Mamushi inches closer to Konoha in his attempt to devour Eida. From day one, Mamushi has been eyeing Eida, with his instincts urging him to consume the cyborg, much like how Matsuri’s primary target was Konohamaru and Ryu’s primary target was Gaara.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 27 also raised death flags for Eida, as her growing fear of Mamushi’s pursuit hints that she may finally be cornered despite Daemon’s protection. Eida herself even talked about her potential death at the hands of her friends, Sarada and Sumire, almost as if she already knew her fate was sealed. It’s a chilling moment, knowing Mamushi needs to settle the score between the God Trees and the people at Konoha.

I actually don’t think I’d mind anymore if you were the ones to kill me.—Eida to Sarada and Sumire

In the last battle, Jura lost Matsuri and Ryu thanks to Boruto, Konohamaru, and Sarada, so it’s about time for Kishimoto and Ikemoto to bring back the glory to the humanoid God Trees. This time, however, Eida could be the sacrificial lamb, with her death changing the momentum and even the direction of the story.

Mamushi Could Kill Eida in Konoha

Mamushi Is Determined to Devour Eida

  • Mamushi is attacking Konoha because of Eida.
  • Mamushi's division ability is problematic for Eida and Daemon.

The humanoid God Trees are the most powerful villains in Boruto now, with Jura leading the group as the direct incarnation of the juvenile Ten-Tails. Based on what fans have seen so far, these overpowered beings are far more dangerous than any other villain, possessing both sentience and shinjutsu. They can also regenerate, making it harder to inflict lasting damage or kill them outright.

While not as strong as Jura, Mamushi is probably one of the strongest among his kind. As revealed in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 27, Mamushi has a problematic ability called Division, allowing him to multiply full-strength versions of himself. As long as his eyes are unharmed, Mamushi can replicate, making it tricky to defeat him through conventional means.

Of course, there’s a drawback to Mamushi’s Division, but with his numbers multiplying at an alarming rate and his desire to target Eida never wavering, he could truly get his hands on Eida. If that happens, Eida won’t be able to defend herself, as she mostly relies on Daemon’s protection in combat. And with Daemon potentially being outnumbered by Mamushi’s endless duplicates without help, the odds would turn against them.

Eida Isn’t the Only One at Risk

Himawari Is Also in Serious Danger

While Mamushi has been obsessing about devouring Eida for quite a long time now, not just because she is his primary target, but also because he wants to get his hands on her superior genetic information, Kashin Koji unexpectedly reveals a grim future for Himawari at the hands of the humanoid God Trees. His vision suggests that Himawari may soon lose her life, probably at the hands of Jura.

As shown in the latest chapter of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, Kashin Koji urges Inojin Yamanaka to learn a superior version of the mind transmission jutsu, which the future Inojin came up with to avenge Himawari. While Kashin Koji did not outright confirm Himawari’s death, his words carry an ominous weight, strongly implying that a dark future awaits Himawari if they don’t act soon to change the course of fate.
