Naruto Uzumaki is one of the most important characters in the Naruto franchise and fans know that he is also one of the most iconic anime characters of all time. This is precisely why his treatment in Boruto has hurt the fans as much as it has. As fans know, Naruto Uzumaki had the powers of Kurama taken away from him during the battle against Isshiki. Most fans of Naruto have been wondering about what power he will get. While there are very intriguing ideas, such as Naruto reuniting with the other Tailed Beasts and getting chakra from them, and even becoming a new Jinchuriki later down the line, the most likely power that he will get is a Scientific Ninja Tool.
This was confirmed most recently in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 28. In this chapter, fans saw Sasuke Uchiha's sword being upgraded into a Scientific Ninja Tool by Sumire. The sword was made stronger and sharper than ever before, and there are still special abilities that it holds that fans have not even been introduced to.

If Sasuke got a Scientific Ninja Tool weapon, then it puts it beyond the shadow of a doubt that Naruto Uzumaki is going to get a Scientific Ninja Tool of his own upon his return. Interestingly enough, this power was shown to the fans immediately after the events of the Momoshiki arc.
Fans saw him receive a new prosthetic hand with the power to absorb ninjutsu, but back then, it was said that this prosthetic hand was incomplete. Now, it has most likely been completed.
Naruto Will Gain An Upgraded Hand
Naruto Uzumaki's prosthetic hand allowed him to absorb any form of chakra, similar to what Momoshiki did with his Rinnegan. However, while Momoshiki could use that chakra and expel it, Naruto's hand ninja tool had not developed the ability to do that at the time. Since then, 3 years have passed and it is highly likely that this ninja tool has been greatly upgraded since then.

Once Naruto does return, the chances of him receiving this new prosthetic hand with the ability to absorb and expel chakra, or even add it to Naruto's own pool are very high.
Naruto's Next Power Up Will Be A Scientific Ninja Tool
At this point, one of Naruto's next power-ups being this Scientific Ninja Tool hand is a given. He will most definitely gain this power of absorbing chakra and even expelling it. But, that certainly isn't all.
This power is immense. It should definitely surpass his. But the drawbacks are too great. You see, the fact that it drains our lifespan is the key here. Just as Sasuke's sword had multiple mechanics inside that will give him unique powers once he returns, Naruto's hand needs to have more to it as well. Naruto Uzumaki has lost the power of Kurama and there needs to be a proper replacement for it.
In that sense, the new ninja tool should boost his strength greatly on top of everything else that it offers. Perhaps, a new power similar to a chakra cloak created from the absorbed chakra, or enhanced offensive and defensive capabilities would also be added to it. Either way, Naruto is going to get stronger once he returns.
