From the likes of Uzuhiko, to Sarada’s new Mangekyo Sharingan, fans have come to love all the major powers in the story so far. But, if there's one power that fans want to see more of, it is Baryon Mode, the ultimate ability that allowed Naruto Uzumaki to surpass even Isshiki in power. Surprisingly enough, Baryon Mode can still be extremely important in Two Blue Vortex later down the line.

Naruto Was The First User Of Baryon Mode

Baryon Mode is an incredibly overpowered transformation that fans saw Naruto Uzumaki use in his fight against Isshiki Otsutsuki. Having started the battle with Six Paths Sage Mode, Naruto quickly realized that he had hit a brick wall and couldn't beat the monster in front of him. This is where Kurama stepped in and brought up the idea of Baryon Mode.

Simply put, Baryon Mode takes the chakra of the Tailed Beast and the Jinchuriki and uses it as raw materials to create a new, powerful form of energy. In theory, this principle is very similar to nuclear fusion, according to Kurama. When Naruto tapped into the power of Baryon Mode, he became incredibly strong, and could even match Isshiki Otsutsuki in combat. In fact, at his peak, Naruto was actually far stronger than Isshiki, which makes him the strongest mortal in the world of Naruto ever.

Unfortunately, Baryon Mode has a timer. This form runs out the moment one or both users run out of chakra, and that's exactly what happened with Kurama. As his chakra ran out, he died, and Naruto lost all his power.

Himawari Uzumaki Might Perfect Baryon Mode

Himawari Is Far More Compatible With Kurama

When Naruto Uzumaki lost the power of Kurama, it became increasingly clear that he would never be able to use this form again. Some fans hoped that Kurama would reunite with him at some point in the future, but later down the line, it became quite clear that this wouldn't happen as Kurama was reborn in his daughter, Himawari.

Interestingly enough, this opens up the door for Himawari to use Baryon Mode. Only, in her case, this might not be just a temporary power-up. Himawari might actually be able to use Baryon Mode for a long time and repeatedly.

Himawari Could Surpass Naruto

This might seem confusing, but the reason has already been made clear to the fans. Himawari had much higher synergy with Kurama than Naruto. This means they are more compatible and most of all, the efficiency of this duo is higher. In other words, the burden of Baryon Mode would be far more tolerable for Himawari compared to Naruto. Eventually, Himawari might even surpass Naruto Uzumaki.
