Being one of the main characters of Naruto, it is no surprise that Sasuke is loved by all the readers of the Boruto manga, and that fans are impatient for his inevitable return. Four years have passed since the Omnipotence struck in the Boruto world, and after this timeskip, most next-generation ninjas are now stronger. Sasuke Uchiha, one of the leaders of the next generation, is also going to be significantly stronger upon his return, and Kishimoto has already laid the groundwork for it. Sasuke's rise in power will be directly connected to the soul of the Shinju, the Thorn Soul Bulb.

Sasuke Uchiha is one of the most important characters in the Boruto series. Fans knew that he would always be important to the story in Boruto, but at the same time, when Naruto Uzumaki was cut out of the plot shortly before Omnipotence, fans knew that dark clouds were looming over Sasuke too. Eventually, it was revealed that Sasuke Uchiha fought Code, and although he pushed him back and even injured him, he was bitten by a Claw Grime, which turned him into a tree. Sasuke was effectively cut out of the plot with a stroke of Ikemoto’s pen.

It didn't take long for the series to establish a way to rescue Sasuke. Ikemoto and Kishimoto quickly revealed that the way to bring back Sasuke is rather straightforward. His Shinju needs to be taken down first, and then, the Thorn Soul Bulb must be retrieved.

In other words, Hidari needs to be defeated and his very essence, or soul, needs to be ripped out first. The Thorn Soul Bulb needs to be taken to Sasuke Uchiha, and the tree that he's trapped in then goes on to absorb it. Once the process is completed, Sasuke Uchiha will be back.

The Thorn Soul Bulb Could Have The Chakra Of The Ten-Tails

The interesting part about the Thorn Soul Bulb is that it is the very essence of the Ten Tails. As is clear already, the Shinju stem from the Ten Tails. All of them have a Thorn Soul Bulb, which acts as their soul or essence. If someone takes the essence of the Ten Tails, naturally, they will grow stronger.

In the case of Sasuke Uchiha, things should be no different. When Sasuke Uchiha receives the Thorn Soul Bulb from Hidari, he should gain the chakra of the Ten Tails as well. This could mean that Sasuke will regain his Rinnegan, or it could manifest as a completely different power altogether.

Whichever path Kishimoto takes for Sasuke, fans know very well that after the timeskip, Sasuke will be a God level Ninja, especially given that the Ten Tails' power is considered godly in the world of Naruto.
