The God Trees Face a Serious Risk

The recent chapters of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex center around the serious threat brought upon by Jura and the other Shinju Clones to Boruto and the rest of the world. Shortly after making a clown out of Code, Jura follows his instinct to form his identity as well as understand his purpose. But unlike any ordinary villain, he craves knowledge and information about the world before hunting his enemy down.

However, Jura’s quest for knowledge and information reveals not just his ignorance but also the incomprehensible nature of humanity. He struggles to understand what it is that drastically lowers the judgment of humans in times of danger. This strange human behavior keeps him distracted, though it doesn’t erase the fact that he remains a force of nature who's difficult to eliminate.

This next question is out of pure curiosity. What is love?—Jura to Boruto

Upon seeing Matsuri’s untimely demise at the hands of Konohamaru and Boruto, Jura concludes that love is a risk, causing God Trees serious problems. Not only did it derail Matsuri’s way of thinking, but it also dulled and restrained her instincts. It is a fatal flaw applicable to both humans and God Trees, the price they must pay at the cost of reasoning and knowledge.

In Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 22, before Jura moves to fight Boruto, he asks him what the concept of love is. It has been bothering Jura for quite a while now, as love seems impossible for him to pin down. He struggles to understand it, making it a significant problem he must overcome. After all, he believes love lured Inojin, Matsuri, and even Boruto to an unnecessary life-or-death situation, and that’s exactly the reason why he also needs to overcome love at all costs.

In response, Boruto answers Jura that love is precisely why Jura and the Humanoid God Trees will never be more than just trees. Still, Jura finds it hard to understand Boruto, failing to accept his recklessness and impulsiveness. For Jura, love is simply a foolish thing that drives humans to their death, but for Boruto, it's the other way around.

However, if Jura retreats for some reason, other characters, possibly Sarada, who recently awakened her Mangekyo Sharingan: Ohirume, may also have a chance of claiming his life. For now, all of these remain speculations as Boruto: Two Blue Vortex continues to release new and exciting chapters.
