One of the main characters in the Boruto series, Sasuke Uchiha has been a big disappointment to many fans, despite being one of the strongest in the world. This is largely down to the fact that the writers of the story, Ikemoto and even Kishimoto, have not handled him nearly as well as they should've.

As things stand, Sasuke Uchiha has been turned into a tree, and it doesn't seem like he will be freed anytime soon. Still, Kishimoto hasn't forgotten about Sasuke, if his latest powers are anything to go by. It seems that Sasuke Uchiha will continue to grow stronger with new godly powers.

Boruto has been nothing but bad for Sasuke Uchiha so far. Fans never truly got to see him shine on his own in the story, which is unfortunate. In fact, even his hard-earned powers in the Naruto series were taken from him. In the fight against Isshiki Otsutsuki, Sasuke Uchiha ended up losing his Rinnegan. Technically, this came after the fight at the hands of Momoshiki, but it was a big loss regardless. Sasuke was already quite nerfed at this point. However, the worst was yet to come.

In the timeskip of the Boruto series, Sasuke Uchiha faced off against Code and his Claw Grimes, and in a tough battle, he ended up losing and was turned into a tree. Right now, Sasuke is nothing but a source of power for Hidari. But, eventually, he will return to the story, and fans hope that he will be a stronger version of himself.

Sasuke Uchiha has been very unlucky in the Boruto series, and fans know that very well. But, that doesn't mean he can't grow stronger. In fact, Sasuke has already grown stronger during the timeskip, as seen in the manga. Sasuke and Boruto trained together during the timeskip and both went on to reach new levels of power.

For Sasuke, this new power was so significant that he could even fight and injure Code in combat, something previously believed to be impossible. But, his best is yet to come.

Solo Leveling: Ragnarok was a good sequel. Boruto could learn a few things from it.
Sasuke Could Regain The Rinnegan
Sasuke Uchiha could gain one godly ability in the Boruto series, and that is the power of the Rinnegan. With the Ten-Tails everywhere, Sasuke Uchiha gaining a Rinnegan again wouldn't be impossible. But, more than that, if Eida uses her Omnipotence, Sasuke can easily regain his eye. This godly eye that rules over life and death is incredibly important in the grand scheme of things. Kishimoto may have set up its return through Eida, but nothing can be said as of yet.
