Boruto: Two Blue Vortex never fails to give the fans exciting reveals each week, and fans are truly amazed by the quality that Ikemoto and Kishimoto manage to deliver every month. While it isn't anywhere close to Naruto, it is still enjoyable in its own way, and that's what makes Boruto a very exciting read for all the fans. Naturally, as is the case with all series, what makes Boruto as exciting as it is, is its incredible cast of characters, and in this cast, there are some that stand out far more than the others. The likes of Boruto Uzumaki, the protagonist of the series, are widely beloved, but not nearly as much as the likes of Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha.

The old characters still hold a special place in the hearts of the fans, and that'll always be the case, no matter what. When it comes to Sasuke, fans are eagerly waiting for him to return after he was incapacitated during the timeskip of Boruto. His absence is deeply felt in the Boruto series, and most of all, fans want to see him engage in high-level combat soon. While his return doesn't seem to be imminent, what fans can be very happy about is that Sasuke just got a major power-up in Two Blue Vortex Chapter 27, without even actively playing a role in the plot. This happened as Sasuke Uchiha’s sword was officially upgraded by Sumire, and its powers are going to be on a whole new level.

As some fans of the Boruto series would know already, Sasuke Uchiha lost to Code in their all-out clash during the timeskip. He was then bitten by one of the Claw Grimes and turned into a Tree. As that happened, Sasuke's Sword was taken up by none other than Boruto. Since then, Sasuke has fought with this blade extensively, and it has certainly received quite a bit of damage.

Boruto: Naruto Uzumaki's Return Date Has Already Been Confirmed By The Author
Naruto will eventually return, and the author has revealed when that will be in Boruto.
In the latest Boruto chapter, fans saw Boruto Uzumaki meet up with Sumire and hand her his sword. He clearly mentioned that the sword suffered wear and tear after he let his guard down in the battle against Jura. More importantly, Boruto handed her a scroll with technology that doesn't exist in the current world. This technology was acquired by Kashin Koji using the Prescience ability. This future technology is mesmerizing and it'll make Boruto's sword much stronger than ever before. It won't take Sumire long to upgrade the sword that Boruto borrowed from Sasuke, and she'll surely make it special.

Sasuke Will Get His Sword After His Return
The New Sword Will Make Him Stronger
Once Sasuke Uchiha returns, fans know very well that he will fight using his sword, as he always does. In that case, it is a given that Sasuke's Sword, which is currently being wielded by Boruto Uzumaki will be returned to him, but much stronger than before. Sasuke will gain new abilities that fans will be mesmerized by, and it'll all happen very soon.
Sasuke Uchiha is already confirmed to have grown much stronger during the Boruto timeskip, and this sword upgrade will make him even stronger. All the fans need to do is wait and hope for Boruto Uzumaki to free him after Hidari’s fall. Once that happens, Sasuke Uchiha will return stronger than ever before.
