The world of Naruto and Boruto has seen the introduction of several powerful Jutsu over the years. In the original story that Kishimoto wrote, fans saw immense powers, such as Mangekyo Sharingan abilities, even those of the Rinnegan, like Chibaku Tensei. That said, only a handful of Jutsu in the Naruto series could be called God level, and one such technique is the Infinite Tsukuyomi.

Introduced quite late in the Naruto series, this Jutsu could only be used by the absolute elites of the world, and required them to have the perfect tools, such as the Rinne Sharingan. Its power was absolutely stunning, and for years, it reigned supreme as the strongest jutsu in the whole Naruto world. Now, however, it seems that a new jutsu has come in that's trumped even Infinite Tsukuyomi, against all odds, and this Jutsu, called Omnipotence, is a true representation of the power of God in Boruto.

Infinite Tsukuyomi Was The Strongest Naruto Jutsu

• Used By Kaguya And Madara
• Casts A Worldwide Genjutsu

The Infinite Tsukuyomi is a Jutsu that was created and used by Kaguya Otsutsuki. As fans know, she was the first Otsutsuki to come to earth along with Isshiki, and eventually, she betrayed him and ate the chakra fruit herself. After awakening the power of the Rinne Sharingan, Kaguya gained the ability to cast Jutsu such as the Infinite Tsukuyomi.

Simply put, Infinite Tsukuyomi is a technique that puts the whole world into a deep slumber and they end up living in the world of dreams. All those caught in it live in the world of Infinite Tsukuyomi, while their true body is then attached to the God Tree and their body is covered in bandage-like appendages. The world of dreams is never-ending, and once caught inside, it is impossible to leave, unless the user cancels the Jutsu or is defeated. Slowly, those caught inside are turned into White Zetsu, which was the whole idea for Kaguya, to begin with.

In the Fourth Great Ninja War, Madara Uchiha also cast the Infinite Tsukuyomi and was later used as a vessel to bring back Kaguya. The jutsu was later broken by the collaborative effort of Team 7 at the very end.

Omnipotence Holds The Power To Create or Destroy A World

While Infinite Tsukuyomi is truly a mighty Jutsu, there is a far better technique in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, called Omnipotence. On paper, Omnipotence may look like just another Jutsu, but its true power is truly earth-shattering. Eida described Omnipotence as a Jutsu that grants the deepest desires of a person.

For instance, Eida, wanting to be loved, subconsciously made use of this Jutsu in a way that everyone is immediately bewitched by her. Similarly, Kawaki's deepest desires were brought to life by Eida, and so the memories of the whole world were altered to swap Boruto and Kawaki. This is strong enough already on its own. But, it isn't the true power of Omnipotence.

The True Power Of Omnipotence Is Far Greater

What Eida told the fans is what she thinks Omnipotence can do. But, the true potential of this power is much greater. Its true power was revealed to Boruto directly by Momoshiki Otsutsuki, and according to him, this is a godly power among godly powers. It can be used to program and create a whole world. According to Momoshiki, God used Omnipotence to create the whole world, and it is the absolute will that materializes everything. In every single way, this technique is far above Infinite Tsukuyomi.

I realize that Boruto started as a sequel to Naruto, but due to Naruto's massive presence, it's been a pretty tough road to travel. Boruto has finally emerged as a proper protagonist in his own right. But will he be a hero on the same level as his father? Or maybe even surpass him? To be honest...
