This article contains spoilers from the Boruto series.
The Boruto series has been on quite a roll as of late and fans know that Two Blue Vortex has delivered some absolutely incredible battles, along with some intriguing character writing, which fans would the series lacked lacked in the first part. Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is incredibly exciting at this point and it is throwing the next generation of ninja in the midst of some of the most exciting battles. New legacies are being written and history is being made in the ninja world right in front of the eyes of the fans, and that is why this part of the story is as exciting as it is.
Say Goodbye To Naruto Uzumaki, And Welcome The New Strongest Character In Boruto
Naruto Uzumaki is powerful, but there is one stronger ninja in Boruto now.
At the same time, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex also tries to pay attention to the legends of the ninja world and makes sure to honor their legacies. For instance, Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage of Konoha, has been brought up in the story on multiple occasions, and his talent and skill have been honored by the author on multiple occasions as well. As fans know, Minato was the Yellow Flash of Konoha, and now, it appears that Konoha has a new Yellow Flash many decades after the death of the Fourth Hokage.
Konoha's Yellow Flash Was A Renowned Legend
- Minato Namikaze Was Feared All Over The World For His Speed
- Minato Was The Fastest Ninja In The World
When it comes to the most legendary Kage that Konoha has ever produced, three particular ones come to mind. The first was obviously the First Hokage of Konoha, Hashirama Senju. He set the groundworks for the village along with Madara and gave birth to a system that is continually used to this day. Of course, the main character, Naruto Uzumaki is another. Fans know that he is the most legendary ninja of all time, and rightly so. He saved the world from utter destruction on multiple occasions, and it goes without saying that Naruto is truly a cut above the rest.
Then, one absolutely cannot forget the legendary Fourth Hokage of Konoha, Minato Namikaze. While not the protagonist, Minato also saved the world in the best way he could. Throughout his ninja career, he was labelled as a genius, and a monstrously powerful ninja. Minato was known as the Yellow Flash of the Leaf. This iconic moniker was given to him for his incredible speed. As far as combat speed goes, Minato was unmatched.
Give me a break. My jutsu isn't as good as Lord Fourth’s, and I'm not as talented as him. — Boruto Uzumaki about his Flying Raijin usage.
No one could touch Minato in battle, and the vast majority of the fights that he took part in ended in a matter of seconds. Minato's speed was such that Lightning A, who could literally move at the Speed of Lightning, could not outspeed him. On top of that, Minato also had his teleportation-style jutsu. Minato had taken the teleportation jutsu of the Second Hokage, called Flying Raijin, and actually improved upon it greatly.
He became the fastest man of his generation, and thanks to his yellow hair and the fact that he could teleport and move at blazing fast speed, he earned the moniker of Konoha's Yellow Flash. It was this moniker that struck fear down the spine of his enemies in the Third Great Ninja War and why he made a legend out of himself as the story progressed.
Boruto Uzumaki Is The Next Yellow Flash Of The Leaf
- Boruto Has Learned The Teleportation Ninjutsu As Well
- Boruto Uzumaki’s Teleportation Is Not As Good As Minato Namikaze
While Minato's legacy will never be surpassed, fans know very well that newer ninjas emerge with the skill of those who existed in the past quite often. Boruto Uzumaki, for instance, has his own jutsu that resembles those of Minato. Boruto, just like Minato, is a user of Flying Raijin. Technically, Boruto's jutsu is not the same as Minato's and it is a much inferior version of the technique.
However, Boruto still calls it the Flying Raijin Jutsu, and at the same time, the end result is somewhat similar. Boruto is an avid user of teleportation ninjutsu at this point in the story. By creating various symbol-shaped medallions and infusing them with his own chakra, Boruto can identify them after spreading them across various distances. Then, he can immediately teleport to them after focusing on his chakra signatures and recognizing them.
This isn't a tale about a boy who aims to become Hokage. That was my dad's story. This is none other than my story! — Boruto Uzumaki, Boruto Chapter 1
Naruto: All New Boruto Dojutsu, Explained
Boruto has introduced new Dojutsu. Some are more unique than others.
Boruto's teleportation ninjutsu has made him one of the fastest ninjas to ever live. In close-range combat, he can surprise his enemies in a plethora of ways. He can even travel great distances in the blink of an eye, thanks to his new Flying Raijin jutsu. While Boruto isn't called the Yellow Flash, it is only a matter of time before he acquires a reputation for being able to teleport because he sports the same yellow hair as his grandfather and moves at the same blinding speed. The fact is that Boruto has everything that it takes for him to be called the Yellow Flash as well, and he is one of Konoha's strongest.
Boruto Will Surpass His Father And Grandfather
It must also be remembered that Boruto Uzumaki possesses tremendous talent. He is slowly nurturing this talent and eventually, when it blooms, Boruto will be on a level far above the Kage. To be fair, Boruto is already stronger than Minato Namikaze and even Hashirama Senju. The only shinobi who is above him in terms of power is Naruto Uzumaki, whose Baryon Mode remains unsurpassed to this day.
But, as the Boruto series continues, Boruto will likely reach a level even greater than Baryon Mode Naruto. For starters, Boruto Uzumaki was born with great talent and a strong connection to the Otsutsuki. He has also got the Karma of Momoshiki Otsutsuki, and on top of that, he was trained by Sasuke Uchiha.
Boruto is destined for great success in the future. At some point, he will harness Momoshiki's full power and surpass the level of the average Otsutsuki as well. When that happens, Boruto will be one of the biggest ninja legends of the world, and fans absolutely cannot wait to see that happen.
The Namikaze-Uzumaki Family Dominates In Konoha
At the end of the day, the Namikaze-Uzumaki family will become a legendary group in the Naruto series. Of course, Minato is not an Uzumaki, but he is grouped together with them, given that he was married to Kushina. Minato, Namikaze, Boruto Uzumaki, and Naruto Uzumaki have formed a legendary trio of powerful monsters, each being the strongest of their own generation.
If this family line continues further, fans can rest assured that whoever comes next will most likely go on to become the strongest of their era as well. That said, they would have great shoes to fill. By the end of the Boruto series, this family will become the greatest to ever exist.
