Boruto: Two Blue Vortex has introduced the fans to a ton of exciting new power-ups for the main characters, such as Uzuhiko for Boruto Uzumaki and a new Mangekyo Sharingan for Sarada Uchiha. Fans are in total awe at these abilities and, naturally, since the story is still in the early phases, it makes one wonder what comes next. This is especially true for the two most important characters in the franchise, Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha.
Meet The New Shinobi That's Going To Steal Naruto's Throne As The Strongest
Naruto Uzumaki was nerfed, and this new Shinobi will steal his spot as the strongest in Boruto.
Right now, both Naruto and Sasuke have been cut out of the story by Kishimoto, but they'll return eventually, and when they do, they'll need new powers. Sasuke Uchiha is already confirmed to have grown stronger and even has a new sword, but Naruto Uzumaki's New power-up remains a big mystery. It seems Ikemoto and Kishimoto have finally decided on what his next power-up is going to be.
Naruto Will Make Use Of Scientific Ninja Tools In Boruto After Losing Kurama
Naruto's next power in Boruto after returning is heavily debated in the fandom, and there are different ways in which fans think he can return to prominence after he is freed by Kawaki. However, the recent chapter of Boruto seems to have given the fans a straightforward answer when it comes to what his next ability is going to be. Given that Sasuke has had his sword upgraded into a scientific ninja tool, it appears that Naruto's next power-up is also going to be a scientific ninja tool.

Naturally, fans might wonder what this scientific ninja tool is going to be. However, it has already been highlighted in the story that Naruto's prosthetic arm can be made into a unique ninja tool that can aid him in battle remarkably. Given that Naruto has lost the power of Kurama now officially, it is only a matter of time before a replacement is provided to him, and that could come from future technology made available using Kashin Koji's Prescience and worked upon by Sumire.
Naruto's Prosthetic Hand Will Make Him Stronger
It is unclear what Naruto's new prosthetic hand will allow him to do at this point in time. However, it is likely going to grant him a godly ability. For instance, Naruto could absorb all forms of chakra with his previous prosthetic hand. The new one could expand upon that and allow him to utilize the chakra that he absorbs in battle, similar to Momoshiki’s Rinnegan.

It is also possible that it will allow him to shave the chakra off his enemies, similar to what he used to do with Baryon Mode. On top of that, this shaped chakra could be added to his own, making him even stronger in fights.
Naruto Uzumaki Might Also Use New Kekkei Genkai
There is another way in which Naruto Uzumaki can grow in power in the future, and that's using a new Kekkei Genkai. The fact is that Naruto Uzumaki has everything needed to master Wood Release, one of the strongest abilities in the whole story. This Kekkei Genkai can be accessed by those with Hashirama cells, and access to both Water and Earth Release. Naruto meets all these conditions and he should be able to use this power as well.
This new Kekkei Genkai, when combined with his new scientific ninja tool, will once again make him strong enough to compete at the very top level and fans absolutely cannot wait to see that. Of course, his return is still a while away since he remains sealed at the moment, but it draws closer with each passing day, and fans are seeing signs about his future abilities in Boruto already.
