This article contains spoilers from Boruto: Two Blue Vortex.
Character deaths aren’t new to Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, as readers have seen quite a few individuals pass away in recent chapters. In the presence of strong villains such as Jura and the God Trees and powerful ninjas such as Boruto and Kawaki, character deaths are inevitable regardless of whether they are minor or major.
Recently, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 29 foreshadowed a major character death, which Boruto Uzumaki won’t be able to stop in the future. It’s not because Boruto would be powerless, but because he would be incapacitated. Death is coming for Kawaki Uzumaki, and his killer will be Momoshiki Otsutsuki, unless the latter fails to complete the end of his deal with Boruto.
It's Time To Say Goodbye To All Jinchuriki In Boruto
The Jinchuriki were iconic in Naruto, but their era is over in Boruto.
Momoshiki Will Control Boruto’s Mind and Body
Momoshiki and Boruto Will Complete Their Deal
- Boruto agrees to surrender his mind and body to Momoshiki.
- Boruto and Momoshiki will defeat Jura.
Momoshiki Otsutsuki has officially agreed to Boruto Uzumaki’s offer to use his full power against Jura and the God Trees. This means that Boruto has grown even stronger, having gained access to all the abilities Momoshiki has at his disposal, from the full power of Karma and Byakugan, and probably even Rinnegan. With Momoshiki’s consent, Boruto is free to utilize all these Otsutsuki abilities in combat without losing control of his mind and body.
However, as soon as Boruto takes down Jura and the God Trees, completing the part of his deal in the process, it will be Momoshiki’s time to shine. After all, Momoshiki only agreed to help Boruto in defeating Jura and the God Trees for his personal gain and not because he genuinely wants to lend a hand. His main goal is to conquer Boruto’s mind and body, and lending his power to his vessel is the easiest way to accomplish his plans.
Momoshiki was very clear about his evil intentions in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 29, saying he will kill Kawaki once the latter comes for him. Looking back, Kawaki has always shown murderous intent toward Boruto and Momoshiki, failing to see them as separate entities. If Momoshiki takes full control of Boruto, Kawaki will certainly fight him in his attempt to protect Naruto and Konoha.
Momoshiki Wants Kawaki Dead
Momoshiki Vs Kawaki May Happen
- Momoshiki wants to kill Kawaki.
- Momoshiki doesn't empathize with Boruto.
Momoshiki and Kawaki have faced each other on the battlefield a few times now, and the outcome has always been chaotic. The last time Momoshiki controlled Boruto’s body, Kawaki did not hesitate in piercing his adoptive brother’s chest, killing him in the process. This forced Momoshiki to repair Boruto’s heart, sacrificing his chance to control his vessel and be reborn.
With this, it goes without saying that Momoshiki has nothing but ill feelings toward Kawaki. It’s not just Boruto he hates, but also Kawaki, who screwed up his plans and forced him to lie low. No wonder Momoshiki wants Kawaki dead as soon as he gets his freedom from Boruto. He is full of confidence in himself that he has what it takes to defeat Kawaki in Boruto’s body.
As soon as I'm free, I'll dispose of Kawaki in a blink.—Momoshiki Otsutsuki
However, Momoshiki and Kawaki’s future fight may not happen if Jura and the God Trees were to win against Boruto. Momoshiki needs to ensure that all the conditions of the agreement are met before he can proceed to face Kawaki in an all-out fight. Plus, he also needs to secure Boruto’s complete surrender, as the latter could trick him before he can even assume control.
Borushiki Is Stronger Than Kawaki
Kawaki has grown stronger after Amado disabled his limiters. He will grow even stronger as soon as Amado adjusts his settings once more. However, this invites more risks, as his body may fail to contain this kind of power in combat, especially if he fights someone as powerful as Boruto and Momoshiki.
Hence, there’s a high chance that Boruto and Momoshiki can defeat Kawaki once it comes down to a fight. With Momoshiki taking the lead, he can combine his Otsutsuki abilities with Boruto’s skills to take down Kawaki.
