Although she received little focus in the predecessor series, two blue vortex has done incredible wonders for her and her character keeps getting more attention. It seems that the ongoing arc will give the fans a lot of Himawari Uzumaki once again, and that is certainly exciting. More recently, in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 28, Kishimoto went on to reveal a major power of Himawari to the fans.

This ability shocked all the readers, given that it is not so commonly found among mortals. It has now been confirmed that she possesses the incredible godly ability of bringing someone back to life, which is the equivalent of Rinne Tensei. Previously, fans had assumed that she could only heal deadly damage, but now, it has been officially confirmed that she can bring people back to life.
Himawari Uzumaki Can Bring Back People From Death
Himawari Uzumaki is one of the most powerful next-generation ninjas in the Boruto series. Fans weren't truly sure of what her powers were going to be in the early phases of the story, but the second part, Two Blue Vortex, confirmed that she was going to be majorly involved, thanks to Kurama. After it was confirmed that she is actually an incarnation of Kurama, her importance shot through the roof and she continues to be tremendously important to the plot right now as well.

Although she is still learning her powers and is far from her peak, fans know for a fact that she holds tremendous potential and that some of her abilities are incredibly important already. For instance, Himawari Uzumaki saved Inojin's life when Jura attacked her.
Fans previously assumed that she was only capable of healing deadly injuries. However, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 28 confirmed to the fans that Inojin had actually died. This was confirmed by the author on multiple accounts, which puts it beyond the shadow of a doubt that this character was not alive anymore. Yet, somehow, Himawari was able to save his life and bring him back from death. Bringing someone back from death is not just a small power in the ninja world. In fact, this is a power connected to the Six Paths.
Himawari's Kurama Powers Are Greater Than Naruto's
Naruto Uzumaki, the previous Jinchuriki of Kurama, had great abilities up his sleeve. Fans saw him heal tremendous damage dealt to him and he was even able to heal others around him. However, he was not able to bring people back to life from death.

If he were able to do that, he could easily have saved even the likes of Neji from death. Naruto couldn't do that because he was just a vessel. However, Himawari is different. She is not a vessel but the Tailed Beast’s incarnation itself. This means that her powers are far superior to those of Naruto, although they are very raw at the moment.
Himawari Holds The Potential To Surpass Naruto Uzumaki
Just by looking at the story, it is quite clear that Kishimoto is setting up Himawari to surpass her father, Naruto Uzumaki. Naruto's powers were absolutely immense, and it goes without saying that his peak, Baryon Mode, cannot be easily surpassed.

However, in just about every other regard, Himawari's powers will far surpass his, and the Tailed Beast went on to confirm himself that his synchronization is far better with her than with any other previous host. It is only a matter of time before Naruto is surpassed.
