Naruto Uzumaki is greatly missed in the Boruto manga, having been sealed in another dimension for over 20 chapters now. The legendary shinobi, said to be the strongest of his time, has never appeared in Two Blue Vortex, leaving many of his hardcore fans frustrated and disappointed. It’s been ages since he was in the front lines, and the same is true with Sasuke Uchiha.
Fans know that Naruto Uzumaki is going to return sometime in the future of Boruto. There’s little to no chance Ikemoto and Kishimoto would drop him like that, so there’s hope to see him come back soon. And with the current direction of the series, it seems like Naruto Uzumaki’s return might not be in theory for long. However, his return might make the situation more dangerous than ever.

Jura Could Force Naruto Uzumaki’s Return
Jura Only Wants Naruto at the Moment

It’s difficult for many fans to see Naruto Uzumaki in the worst situation in Boruto. On top of losing Kurama, his adopted son put him in another dimension where time does not flow, just to protect him from multiple threats. Unlike in the original series, where fans saw Naruto fighting on the frontlines, he now requires saving and protection from the next generation of shinobi.
Worse, Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 24 has already revealed that Jura, otherwise known as the direct incarnation of the Ten Tails, is coming after Naruto. If there’s another person who could unseal Naruto, apart from Kawaki, the closest at the moment might be Jura. He knew that Naruto was still alive somewhere, and it might only be a matter of time before Jura figured things out and made the move to truly unseal Naruto.

Fans know Jura means serious business when it comes to forming his identity and finding his purpose. As the leader of the Shinju Clones, he must set an example to his comrades by pursuing Naruto, no matter where he is. He knows that Kawaki holds the key to Naruto’s whereabouts, so it’s expected he’s going to come after him as his starting point. No matter what method he’d use, either forcing Kawaki to let Naruto go or studying the workings of Daikokuten, there’s no stopping him from hunting Naruto down.
Jura Could Kill Naruto Uzumaki Once He Returns
Jura Is Powerful Enough to Take Down Naruto
Despite the power-ups Boruto and Kawaki, including Sarada, received as of late, Jura remains the strongest character in the manga. Even the most powerful shinobi of the older generation, Naruto and Sasuke, whom Boruto clearly nerfed, might be nowhere near Jura’s power level. If there’s anyone who could surpass Jura right now, it might just be a member of the Otsutsuki Clan.
Fans have only seen glimpses of Jura’s power in previous Boruto chapters, but he has already demonstrated just how superior he is to everyone. His immense strength, chakra supply, speed, and most especially his regenerative abilities are laps ahead of the protagonists at the moment. In fact, he even had time to take out his notebook just to record his observations while in the middle of the fight against Kawaki and Boruto, almost as if he was not taking them seriously.

That said, it’s clear that Jura has enough power to take down Naruto Uzumaki. If he goes for the kill, he could truly end Naruto for good. Besides that, Naruto is not in his prime anymore, having lost Kurama. It’s also unclear if he could use Baryon Mode again, considering the huge cost that comes with it, so Naruto might be on the losing end if he ever breaks free from the seal and faces Jura. Of course, this might not easily happen if Naruto suddenly gains another power.
Jura Could Achieve His Perfect Form
Jura Absorbing Naruto Might Be the Start of the End
While Jura is a villain who prefers to talk first rather than to strike, it doesn’t mean he’ll agree to sit down with Naruto and talk about love and his combat experience, as well as his history with the Tailed Beasts. It’s always possible that he’d waste no time absorbing Naruto, just as he did not waste time coming after Boruto in the Land of the Wind.
Fans know that Jura’s priority is Naruto, and he wants to consume him more than anything else in Boruto. If he were successful in doing this, Jura might achieve his perfect form, all thanks to Naruto’s combat experience, knowledge, and the remnants of the powers of the other Tailed Beasts. He could become a being far stronger than anybody else, probably on an equal, if not higher, level than an Otsutsuki. With this, Jura might be the biggest threat Boruto and Kawaki need to eliminate before he can destroy the world.
