Naruto Uzumaki is one of the most beloved characters in the entirety of the Naruto franchise. In fact, it wouldn't be a stretch to say that he is the face of the entire franchise, which is precisely why his loss hurts the fans as much as it does in Boruto. When the Boruto series first began, Naruto was everywhere. He was leading the next generation just as he was supposed to, and setting an example for everyone, showing them what a Hokage is supposed to be like.
It's Time To Welcome Naruto Uzumaki's Perfect Successor As The Next Hokage
The next Hokage has already been decided, and it's Naruto's true successor in Boruto.
However, Kishimoto flipped the script when he stripped Naruto of his powers and killed Kurama. Shortly afterwards, Naruto was sealed by Kawaki, and since then, fans have been left wondering when he will return. As things stand, it appears that Naruto's return isn't too far away now, based on the current events of the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga. What's more, Naruto won't return as weak as he was before. As he returns, he will be stronger and will most certainly be given new abilities as well.
Naruto Uzumaki Will Return In Boruto Eventually
When the Boruto series began, fans were shocked to know that Naruto Uzumaki could potentially have died. This is because the prologue of the story clearly teased Naruto's death. However, as things unraveled in the story, it became clearer that Naruto was not actually dead but severely incapacitated. After being sealed by Kawaki, Naruto has not returned to the story properly. However, that is most likely going to change very soon.

When Eida used the power of Omnipotence to swap places for Boruto and Kawaki, the entire world believed that Boruto was the one who killed the Seventh Hokage. However, with time, more characters are now finding out about the fact that Boruto is the son of the Seventh Hokage, and Kawaki is someone else entirely. The likes of Sarada, Mitsuki, and even Konohamaru either already realize, or have started to realize the truth as well.
As such, Omnipotence won't play a significant role in the story for long, which means that Kawaki will be forced to release the Seventh Hokage eventually. This will likely happen after the fall of Jura, and Kawaki will go on to destroy Konoha, and the battle between Boruto and him will begin.
Naruto Could Be Back After The Fall Of Jura
First and foremost, the plot point of Jura and the Shinju needs to be dealt with. The current arc of Boruto will most certainly involve all three of Hidari, Jura, and Mamushi. If all three of the Shinju fall in this arc, the next arc could very well be the one where Kawaki and Boruto face off against each other. This means that at the end of the very next arc, fans could very well see their beloved Seventh Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki, return.

Naruto Will Gain New Powers After His Return
Just as Naruto's return is edging closer, fans also know very well that he won't be as weak as he was when he was sealed by Kawaki. This is quite clear for the fans to see based on Sasuke receiving a new sword. Boruto Uzumaki officially upgraded Sasuke's sword recently, and his chakra was registered with the blade as well.
Madara Uchiha Has Officially Lost His #1 Spot As The Strongest Sharingan User
Madara is powerful, but he isn't the strongest Sharingan user in Naruto anymore.
Similarly, Naruto Uzumaki will gain a big power up in the Boruto series as well, and that's something that fans absolutely cannot wait to see. As for what the power is, the answer has not been made clear in the story yet, but eventually, Boruto will reveal the truth of it to the fans.
Given that Sasuke received a Scientific Ninja Tool, it is likely that Naruto will receive something very similar.
Scientific Ninja Tools Will Be His Biggest Ally
In the current age of the Naruto world, Scientific Ninja Tools are extremely important. Fans know very well that they hold tremendous power, and they could aid those who need tremendous strength. It is highly likely that Naruto Uzumaki will gain a Scientific Ninja Tool upon his return.
We have previously highlighted the idea of Naruto receiving a new prosthetic hand that allows him to not just absorb chakra, but expel it as well. This is something that fans will likely see after his return, and it could make him stronger than before. This will also allow Naruto to compete at the top level and once again, gain popularity among the fans.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is the sequel to the original Boruto series, written by Mikio Ikemoto, and supervised by Masashi Kishimoto. The series follows the journey of Boruto Uzumaki, 3 years after the events of Omnipotence struck in the story.
