The Boruto series gave the fans some of the most incredible moments from Naruto Uzumaki. Even though Boruto isn't Naruto's story, he still had some highlights, especially in the first part of the series, and one of the biggest of them all was Baryon Mode. In order to fight against Isshiki Otsutsuki and defeat him, Naruto put his life on the line and utilized the ability mode as Baryon Mode which pushed him beyond all limits.
After 18 Years, Naruto Is Set To Reveal The Next Child Of Prophecy
Naruto was the child of Prophecy, but his time is over. Boruto has a new child of prophecy who will save the world.
To this day, this remains to be one of the biggest highlights of the Boruto series. While this was great, it seems that Kishimoto is dead set on going even beyond the power level that he established earlier. Thanks to the newly introduced concept of human Tailed Beasts, Kishimoto now has an ability that surpasses even Baryon Mode, provided it is handled correctly.
Human Tailed Beast Power Surpasses Baryon Mode
The concept of human Tailed Beasts was born in the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex series with Jura. When the Shinju were first introduced, most fans were led to believe that they were created using the chakra of humans after they were devoured by the Claw Grimes.
This power is immense. It should definitely surpass his. But the drawbacks are too great. You see, the fact that it drains our lifespan is the key here. Since chakra is connected, the power that comes into being from the bits of our lives also shaves off his life when in contact. That is the power of Baryon Mode. — Kurama to Naruto Uzumaki
However, later down the line, it was revealed that Jura is actually quite special. Unlike the other Shinju, Jura was not created from any parent body. In fact, it was revealed to the fans that Jura is actually the incarnation of the Ten-Tails itself, and that is precisely what made him so special.
Still, fans weren't exactly sure what to expect from Jura in terms of power. However, as the story continued, it became clear that Jura far surpasses Jigen in terms of strength. In fact, even full-powered Isshiki pales in comparison to Jura, based on the narrative established in the Boruto series.
It remains quite clear for the fans to see that Jura has achieved a power level so high that he is seemingly deemed impossible to kill. Kashin Koji, who fully believed that Isshiki could be defeated, is hopeless when it comes to Jura. Even Amado clearly stated that the chances of Jura dying are close to zero.
Jura Is Unkillable For Now
As things stand, Jura is essentially unkillable, and this is down to him being the incarnation of Ten-Tails. Essentially, this new power in Boruto that allows Tailed Beasts to incarnate into human forms is so great that it even dwarfs Beryon Mode in comparison, and that is a big step in the right direction for the Boruto series.
Boruto's New Arc Officially Gives A Naruto Uzumaki Return Update
Naruto Uzumaki will eventually return, and the newest Boruto arc has revealed when.
Interestingly enough, Jura is not the only human Tailed Beast in the Boruto series. Naruto's very own daughter, Himawari Uzumaki, is also a human Tailed Beast, and in her case, she is the incarnation of Kurama itself.
Human Tailed Beasts Could Become The Strongest Power In The Future
Right now the concept of human Tailed Beasts is still very fresh. There is a lot of detail that Kishimoto will add to it as the story continues and a ton of other things that remain unclear about them still.
With Himawari and Jura, two of the most important characters in Boruto revolve around this new power. Fans can rest assured that they will find out more details about the human Tailed Beasts soon enough.

What can be said at this point in time is that the concept of human Tailed Beasts is very intriguing and that it is the greatest power in the story that surpasses Baryon Mode, and potentially even Karma itself.
Based on how Kishimoto wants to use this ability in the future, fans could see all the Tailed Beasts incarnate into human forms in one way or another, and this would give rise to many new exciting characters in the Boruto series. For now, however, fans will have to observe the two human Tailed Beasts that are available to them, those being Himawari and the monstrosity that is Jura.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is the sequel to the original Boruto series, written by Mikio Ikemoto, and supervised by Masashi Kishimoto. The series follows the journey of Boruto Uzumaki, 3 years after the events of Omnipotence struck in the story. Boruto must now work to save the world from the perils it faces while dealing with his brother, Kawaki. Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 29 is set for its official release on December 18, 2025.
