Romance Between Boruto And Sarada Has Always Been Teased

Since Boruto and Sarada are childhood friends and have always been close to each other, it is very easy to see them as a possible couple. Not only that, but characters have occasionally commented that they would make a good couple together, so a potential romance between them has always been teased in the story.

While Sarada tried to ignore and pretend that she didn't know Boruto when they entered the Academy, it is very clear that they care for each other, and there are many sweet interactions between them. This becomes even more evident in Two Blue Vortex, as Sarada is basically the only one who believes that Boruto is innocent of what others in Konoha are accusing him of, and she believes him even though he cannot present any concrete evidence.

Sarada admits that she has been avoiding and rejecting her own feelings for Boruto, which includes being jealous that other girls might like him, considering them all as weaknesses. Sarada has focused on her goal of becoming Hokage and has tried to forget everything else.

For example, if one of them dies at the end of the story, they will obviously not become a couple.
