With each passing chapter, the series delivers major developments for the fans to get excited over, and that's been the case since the manga originally began. Boruto: Two Blue Vortex focuses on characters both young and old, and that means even individuals like Naruto and Sasuke get some attention after their fall from grace in the first part of the manga.
Get Ready For Boruto Uzumaki's New Power-Up In Two Blue Vortex
Boruto Uzumaki has a major power up coming up, and it will make him up to the Shinju challenge.
Of course, Naruto Uzumaki hasn't returned yet, but Sasuke has featured in some chapters of Two Blue Vortex. Masashi Kishimoto and Mikio Ikemoto have officially confirmed in the manga that Sasuke Uchiha has finally surpassed Naruto Uzumaki, at least for now. This happened over the course of the three-year timeskip of Boruto, shortly before the sealing of the legendary Uchiha. Sasuke remains cut out from the ongoing plot due to being turned into a tree, but before that happened, his new power level was shown to the fans, and it's safe to say that he's reached new heights.

Sasuke Uchiha has finally surpassed Naruto Uzumaki in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. This might come as a surprise to some fans, but it's factually stated in the manga. To understand why that's the case, fans only need to look at the timeskip of Boruto. When the timeskip of the series began, it became quite clear that Sasuke Uchiha would leave with Boruto Uzumaki, thanks to Sarada.

As Sasuke left, he started training Boruto Uzumaki and he gave him access to all the abilities that he had. During this year, Sasuke trained himself alongside Boruto as well. The latest Boruto information from the official source itself states that Sasuke trained to reach new heights together with Boruto. Here's what the statement said:

Current Sasuke Is Far Stronger Than Naruto
Right now, Sasuke is far stronger than Naruto. As fans know, Naruto was sealed shortly after he lost the power of Kurama. Meanwhile, Sasuke left the village and he trained together with Boruto. The fact that Sasuke grew stronger is also quite evident in his fight with Code.
When Sasuke fights Code, he is outnumbered by Claw Grimes and Code himself. Yet, despite everything, and not even having his Rinnegan, Sasuke is able to take Code’s eye, badly injuring him. Eventually, Sasuke sacrifices himself to save Boruto's life. But, the fact remains that he could seriously injure Code.
Boruto: Kishimoto Confirms A Major Power-Up For Kawaki

This very Code had all his limiters removed. In other words, this version of Code was feared even by Jigen and is confirmed to be stronger than him. The very same Jigen overpowered both Naruto and Sasuke together before the timeskip. Yet, after it, Sasuke alone, without even his Rinnegan, could injure Code badly. This is proof of the fact that he's far stronger right now.
Sasuke's Sword Was Recently Upgraded In Boruto
To add even more to Sasuke's strength, Boruto recently confirmed another power-up for him. Sasuke Uchiha's beloved blade was delivered by Boruto Uzumaki to Sumire. This blade has now been upgraded to form a scientific ninja tool. Sumire increased the strength and the cutting power of the sword, which is massive.
She also managed to have it automatically cloak itself in the user's chakra, making it far more efficient, and on top of that, used a new material to create it, the effects of which remain unknown right now. In any case, Sasuke's sword is yet another big boost to his arsenal when he returns. Naruto, on the other hand, hasn't received any power-up. At the moment, Sasuke has officially surpassed Naruto Uzumaki and there's no competition between the two. Of course, when Naruto does return, things will be different as he'll probably get big power-ups of his own.
