This article contains spoilers from the Boruto series.

The Boruto series is getting exciting with each passing chapter and finally, Kishimoto and Ikemoto are revealing some very intriguing new characters in the story. While the first part of Boruto was certainly very exciting, it lacked a proper villain that could stand on the same level as Madara Uchiha.

That seems to have changed in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex, as fans have finally got a proper villain to enjoy in the form of Jura. Introduced right at the beginning of Two Blue Vortex, Jura possesses tremendous strength, the likes of which cannot be matched by many. But at the same time, he also has a compelling story behind him, which is what makes him special, and one to observe in the future, as he could well be the next Madara.

Jura Is The Next Madara Uchiha Of The Boruto Series

Jura Is The Next Madara Uchiha Of The Boruto Series

When the Naruto series began, Kishimoto had made it his goal to establish a powerful villain that would become the focus of the main plot, and thus, the legend of Madara Uchiha was born. From around the midpoint of the story, that is, around the timeskip, right up until the very end, Madara Uchiha was highly relevant in Naruto.

What is love? My current opinion is that it can be a fatal weakness for you humans, a flaw...that is a side effect of being highly intelligent. Yet it makes you stronger! — Jura to Boruto Uzumaki, Two Blue Vortex

This is something that the Boruto series lacked, until now, that is. In Two Blue Vortex, the main threat that could be compared to Madara has officially been revealed, and it is none other than Jura. For those who do not know, Jura is a very special individual, known to be the Ten-Tails in human form.

In this world, wherever there is light, there are always shadows. As long as there is a concept of victors, the vanquished will also exist. The selfish desire for peace gives rise to war. And hatred is born in order to love. — Madara Uchiha, Naruto

The Shinju, in general, were created by Code when he gave sentience to the Ten-Tails. After the Claw Grimes devoured various people, their chakra led to the creation of the Shinju. However, Jura is special. He was not born from the chakra of any human.

Jura is the incarnation of the 10 Tails in human form itself, and that is what makes him truly special. This makes him almost a God-like being the likes of which cannot be matched by many. It also gives him a very exciting premise and fans can't wait to see how his story shapes up later down the line.

Jura Is Stronger Than Madara Uchiha

It goes without saying that Jura is quite easily the most intriguing villain that Boruto has introduced, but at the same time, it isn't just the intrigue behind his creation that impresses the fans. His strength is already legendary. In fact, in terms of power, few can even dare to come close to Jura. Even Madara Uchiha, the legend of the Naruto series, pales in comparison to him in power.

I taught you that in order to control people, you need to use the darkness in their hearts. And if there's no darkness, then you just create it. — Madara Uchiha

Shinju Jura might be one of the strongest characters in Boruto. Kishimoto reveals just how stong he is.

Jura is so strong that he is essentially deemed invincible. In Boruto: Blue Vortex chapter 28, it was clearly stated that the chances of killing him are close to zero, and fans already know that even two Karma users couldn't combine to defeat him, which is a clear indication of the fact that he is far above the level of Madara in terms of raw power.

Jura Is The Most Exciting Boruto Villains So Far

Jura Is The Most Exciting Boruto Villains

Out of all the villains in the Boruto series, Jura is quite clearly the most exciting of the lot, at least so far. Kishimoto has done an incredible job at writing his character with great intrigue and giving him a background that ties directly to the lore of the Naruto world, thanks to the Ten Tails.

This is exactly what gives him the potential to be a villain as good as Madara Uchiha and that is something that all fans of the series greatly appreciate. Added to that is the fact that he possesses tremendous strength and that is something that fans absolutely cannot overlook.

After all, Boruto is a Shonen series, and strength matters a lot. Jura's strength adds to his character intrigue and makes him a potentially brilliant villain that fans will remember for ages to come.

At this point, the only thing that Kishimoto needs to ensure is to write Jura properly. If his motivations, his character arc, and just about everything else about him are as good as Madara's, it is a given that he will be one of the best villains in the entire franchise and will be talked about for years to come. Hopefully, Kishimoto delivers upon the expectations.
