Brawlhalla is no stranger to crossovers, as it has had more than its fair share by collaborating with big names such as Street Fighter, The Walking Dead, and even the Star Wars franchise. Now, the game is confirmed to be doing a crossover with Destiny 2, one of the biggest games for PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. While some players may not be surprised by this crossover, given developer Blue Mammoth Games' ability to bring nearly any franchise to Brawlhalla, it is still an exciting move that is now highly anticipated.

On February 28, 2025, Brawlhalla announced the Guardians Crossover Event via a short teaser that was shown during IGN Fan Fest. The event intends to bring over Destiny 2's character classes, namely Warlock, Hunter, and Titan, and turn them into skins that players can purchase and slap onto specific Legends. Aside from that information, and the crossover's March 26th release date, no other details are currently confirmed. This has led to fans speculating about what else they can expect from the event, as a collaboration with a big name like Destiny 2 is sure to bring a lot to the game.

The Guardians Crossover Event Could Bring the World of Destiny Over to Brawlhalla

While it's clear that the Legends of Brawlhalla will be getting skins inspired by the Destiny 2 classes in the crossover, it's likely that there will be more to the event. Much like the game's previous collaborations with other franchises, the Guardians Crossover Event will almost certainly include content that emphasizes the significance of the crossover, which means there are several things to look forward to:

  • There will likely be skins based on Destiny 2's Ghost companion and its many popular cosmetic shells.
  • A new stage based on the most iconic and beautiful areas in Destiny 2 could be introduced, with Rathmore Chaos and Arcadian Valley acting as possible options.
  • Popular emotes from Destiny 2, such as Sweeping and Luxurious Toast, could be transferred over for players to use with their Legends.

While there is no guarantee that these pieces of content will be added, previous crossover events suggest that it could happen. Until Blue Mammoth Games provides more official details about the event, one can only speculate, but there is certainly excitement surrounding the content from Destiny 2 that could be coming to Brawlhalla.

Which Legends Will Get Destiny 2’s Class Skins

Although it's clear that the classes of Destiny 2 are coming to Brawlhall a as skins, there are still big questions about who they're for. There are certainly many candidates who would make an excellent Warlock, Hunter, and Titan, but only three are likely to be allowed to wear their armor. Considering that the most common weapons in Destiny 2 are guns, bows, and swords, it's likely that the Legends who are known for utilizing those types of weapons will be the ones picked to wear the skins. This means characters such as Koji, Thatch, Ada, Onyx, Isaiah, and Sidra would be the best options among the cast. Still, there's no telling what Blue Mammoth Games will decide to do, as there is also the chance that the skins could go to characters that nobody would have expected.

Brawlhalla has certainly carved its niche in the fighting game genre, and it looks to be in a position where it won't stop growing. The numerous collaborations are proof of that, and the upcoming one with Destiny 2 ensures that the game stays relevant. With respect to what kind of content one can expect from the Guardians Crossover Event, aside from the skins, it's still a mystery, but it is definitely something for fans to look forward to, as it will undoubtedly serve to further enhance the game.
