Bidoof joins the line of Pokemon plush characters available from Build-A-Bear with an online exclusive bundle. Its accessory set includes an orange bandanna and a red plaid shirt, both showing off the Poke Ball design. As with all Pokemon plushies, Bidoof also gets its own 5-in-1 sound button, with its cry from the U.S. Dub of the anime.
Bidoof was first introduced to trainers with the release of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl on the Nintendo DS. Met early in the game, Bidoof served as a wild Normal-type Pokemon to begin building a team. Bidoof and its evolved form Bibarel turned out to be far more useful when exploring the game world, able to use many HM moves like Cut to get around.
Squishmallows Is Suing Build-A-Bear
Jazwares, the parent company behind the popular Squishmallows toy line, takes legal action against Build-a-Bear for alleged copyright infringement.
The Pokemon Bidoof Plush Bundle is available at Build-A-Bear's website now. For $63.00, Bidoof comes pre-stuffed with its shirt, bandanna, and sound button. The bundled price is broken down to show a $36 tag on just Bidoof and $27 for its three add-ons. Just like the previous month's Charizard, this is an online-exclusive item that can only be purchased for its bundle price. Bidoof cannot be purchased unstuffed, its accessories cannot be purchased separately, nor is this bundle available in any Build-A-Bear store.
Bidoof Build-A-Bear Now Available
The checkered pattern of Bidoof's plaid lumberjack shirt accentuates its role as a practical Pokemon. Its evolution Bibarel is listed in the Pokedex as the Beaver Pokemon, so teaching it moves like Cut and Rock Smash would make sense. Bidoof is also a four-legged Pokemon plushie, following in the footsteps of the Eevee family and the Sprigatito Build-A-Bear Pokemon, introduced last summer.
Bidoof joins a unique set of Pokemon that can be caught in the wild and brought home as Build-A-Bears. Most Pokemon plushies available from Build-A-Bear are in the forms of starters and Eeveelutions. Fans can also order Growlithe, Vulpix, or Gengar as a Pokemon plush bundle.
Despite not having much presence following the fourth generation of Pokemon games, Bidoof continued to maintain immense popularity with fans. In 2022, the animated short "Bidoof's Big Stand" premiered and showed off the strength of the Plump Mouse Pokemon as an underdog competitor. Now, its popularity continues in Build-A-Bear form that can be brought home.
