The world kill record for a single match of Call of Duty: Warzone trios has been set by a group of competitive Call of Duty pro players and streamers. Each player on the team racked up an exceptionally high amount of kills on their own, but as a squad, they now hold an incredibly impressive record in Warzone.
Playing as a trio, Preston "Priestahh" Greiner, Bryan "Apathy" Zhelyazkov, and Charlie "MuTeX" Saouma established the new kill record for Warzone trios on April 29. Many Warzone records exist for the various squad sizes the game offers, but the group's trios kill total is particularly high given that the number is only split between three players. Both Priestahh and Apathy currently play Call of Duty professionally, being signed with the Atlanta FaZe and Seattle Surge respectively, and MuTeX played the game professionally as well before being dropped from the Dallas Empire roster late last year.
The trio absolutely decimated the match they played, amassing a whopping 92 total kills between the three of them. Because of their history and expertise with the game, the team was able to destroy more than half of a 150 player Warzone lobby by themselves. Of the three, Priestahh had the most kills with a total of 36, followed by Apathy with 30 and MuTeX with 26. Their total surpasses the previous record of 85 kills in a Warzone trios game.
While the team currently holds the record for the highest combined trios kill count, Priestahh was just shy of breaking the highest solo kill count in a trios match. The highest individual kill count record for Warzone trios belongs to Mixer streamer GaGOD, who amassed 38 kills in a single match while streaming in March. This is just one kill higher than the current 37 kill record for Warzone solos held by HusKerrs. Both records pale in comparison to the highest Warzone quads kill count, with streamers Bartonologist, Kekoa, RussDaddy, and BryanTheJet racking up 108 kills as a group in a single quads match. These records were set on March 13, April 11, and April 19 respectively, and they still stand to this day.
A typical Warzone player will only get a few kills per game, and a winning player will likely have 5-10 kills if they played aggressively during the match. When playing duos, trios, or quads, the number of enemies per engagement is higher, but the higher kill count is spread between more players as a result of the increased squad sizes. This means that getting 10 kills or more in a single Warzone match, regardless of game mode, is a very irregular occurrence, which makes each record listed above a significant achievement.
Like all video game records, these kill counts will most likely be exceeded sometime in the future, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be celebrated.
Call of Duty: Warzone is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
