Summary

  • Treyarch Studios announces a new playlist update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 set for February 21.
  • The update will see Bullet 24/7 added to the game's playlist options.
  • Bullet is one of two new maps added to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 with Season 2 Reloaded.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 developer Treyarch Studios has confirmed that a new playlist update is set to go live on February 21 that will add Bullet 24/7, allowing fans to play nothing but the new Season 2 Reloaded map. The highly anticipated mid-season update went live for both Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone on February 20, adding a plethora of new weapons, maps, modes, and more.

Although there is plenty of new content for players to check out, the latest update hasn't been without controversy. Season 2 Reloaded has introduced a new collaboration with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but fans aren't happy with the latest Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 event for a magnitude of reasons. Similar to the Squid Game collaboration from earlier this year, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles event comes with a new Event Pass for players to level up and unlock in-game rewards. The catch, however, is that players must pay 1,100 COD Points to unlock the premium version of the Event Pass, which doesn't even include the sought-after Ninja Turtles operator skins.

Treyarch Confirms When Bullet 24/7 Is Coming to Black Ops 6

Despite the dissatisfaction with the new event, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 Reloaded did add plenty of other new content, including two new multiplayer maps: Grind and Bullet. With fans absolutely loving Bullet, Treyarch Studios has confirmed that it will be releasing a new update on February 21 with Bullet 24/7 set to be added to the game's playlist options. The small, fast-paced multiplayer map is set inside (or on top of) a high-speed bullet train, making it one of the first maps of its kind in Call of Duty history. While many of Call of Duty's most iconic maps consist of three lanes, Bullet has just one, which fans were initially skeptical of.

After its first reveal to the world with the launch of Season 2 last month, fans initially mocked the new Black Ops 6 map as its layout practically mimicked a joke concept created by a fan last year. After the launch of Black Ops 6 in October 2024, one player mocked up an idea for a hallway map that was...well, precisely that. The concept was nothing but a straight hallway with two spawn points and nothing in between. While Bullet isn't quite as chaotic as what this concept would be, it is the first map in Call of Duty history to just be a straight line. Thankfully, there's plenty of cover, and players can even climb on top of the moving train to traverse from one side to the other.

The newest Call of Duty update also brings back some iconic maps and weapons from past Black Ops games. After weeks of rumors and speculation, the launch of Season 2 Reloaded confirmed that the D13 Sector (now known as the D.13 Sector) would be returning. This iconic special weapon from Black Ops 3 fires disc projectiles at enemies, but its return has come with a few new upgrades. The mid-season refresh has also seen the return of a fan-favorite map from Black Ops 2, Grind. Set inside a skate park, fans can jump into one of Call of Duty's most iconic maps for free with Season 2 Reloaded.
