The anticipation is rising around the upcoming launch of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, with the game being firmly set for an October 25 release date. Over the past few months, fans have received excellent overviews of what experiences the game is aiming to provide, with huge amounts of information being released regarding its campaign, multiplayer, and Zombies mode.

As is the case with many modern games for the franchise, a lot of the pre-release buzz for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 concerns its multiplayer modes, but its campaign is equally deserving of attention and anticipation. With the title being in development for an unusually long four years, it is clear that a lot of effort has been poured into the single-player narrative of Black Ops 6, and Treyarch is already trying its best to incentivize more players to engage with the campaign. Treyarch recently announced a spate of eye-catching in-game rewards for Black Ops 6 that are directly tied to the campaign, and fans will not want to miss out on them.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 developer Treyarch Studios teases the return of a fan-favorite mode with the shooter's very first season later this year.

Players Can Earn Some Great Rewards Tied To the Campaign of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6

The campaign for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is going to be an ode to the wider franchise, finally offering more concrete connections between the narratives of the original Black Ops, Black Ops 2, and Black Ops Cold War. Black Ops 6's story will largely take place between the events of Cold War and Black Ops 2, with familiar franchise faces like Frank Woods and Russell Adler once again taking center stage.

While the Call of Duty games have been home to some iconic and extremely memorable campaigns over the years, the franchise's community has always had a fair split between players who enjoy each single-player experience and those who would rather focus on the IP's equally successful multiplayer offerings. This is clearly something that Treyarch is trying to fix for Black Ops 6, and while there will be no early access for the campaign prior to October 25, there are a range of multiplayer rewards that are directly tied to the game's single-player narrative.

These rewards include a wide range of eye-catching weapon blueprints for Black Ops 6, with the following blueprints being unlockable through campaign gameplay:

  • Truth Serum blueprint for the AMES 85 assault rifle.
  • The Bastion blueprint for the Moslo500 pistol.
  • Onyx Echo blueprint for the LR 7.62 sniper rifle.
  • Pocket Aces blueprint for the Jackal PDW SMG.
  • Case Cracker blueprint for the Combat Knife.

In addition to these blueprints, players will be able to unlock an operator skin for Black Ops 6's fresh face, Troy Marshall, as well as a unique loading screen featuring Russell Adler. Players will also get the chance to earn the Pick Axe finishing move, Slip Sauce spray, and a range of weapon stickers and charms. Many of these campaign rewards are simply tied to the successful completion of individual campaign missions, with the more attractive unlocks being a bit more challenging to earn.

For example, many of the weapon blueprint rewards are tied to Black Ops 6's campaign safehouse, with players needing to solve evidence puzzles and upgrade certain safehouse facilities with scavenged money to unlock them. Alongside these rewards, Treyarch also confirmed that there will be a wide range of calling card unlocks that players can work towards in Black Ops 6's campaign, with each calling card being tied to mission-specific challenges. There is a clear incentive for players to explore the full breadth of Black Ops 6's campaign through these rewards, and it only seems right that fans will be able to flaunt their single-player achievements through a range of multiplayer unlocks.
