The stream also included beta gameplay of the multiplayer mode before its release to the public.
Call of Duty: Warzone Finally Confirms When Verdansk is Coming Back
Call of Duty: Warzone finally reveals the release window for the long-awaited return of the battle royale's original map, Verdansk.
During the Call of Duty NEXT livestream, mastery camos for multiplayer were revealed, showcasing a Gold, Diamond, Dark Spine, and Dark Matter skin for player’s favorite weapons. Call of Duty did not reveal any details about how to unlock the skins, saving that info for a later date. A new omnidirectional movement system is coming to Black Ops 6, allowing players to walk, sprint, slide, and dive in any direction. This feature will be part of all game modes, including Warzone.

Call of Duty announced many changes to Warzone, which were discussed in the Call of Duty NEXT livestream. In addition to omnidirectional movement being added to Warzone, backpacks are being removed, tactical sprinting with knives is being added, scorestreaks are being replaced, and more. Activison put a focus on “fluidity” for the updates being added to Warzone, most likely targeting movement and gunplay. Several quality of life improvements are coming to the game and the Call of Duty HQ app after some fans have complained about the UI and install size.
The Call of Duty HQ app recently received an update, no longer requiring Warzone as a mandatory download. The current Call of Duty title, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, has been criticized for its sizable storage requirement. The open-world Zombies mode and Warzone were partially to blame for the file size. These updates to the Call of Duty HQ app mark the beginning of a number of improvements to the system, with install sizes and UI being improved. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is expected to have a smaller install size than Modern Warfare 3 on release, so fans don’t need to worry about a sizable download taking up all their storage space.

Forced to go rogue. Hunted from within. This is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Developed by Treyarch and Raven, Black Ops 6 is a spy action thriller set in the early 90s, a period of transition and upheaval in global politics, characterized by the end of the Cold War and the rise of the United States as a single superpower. With a mind-bending narrative, and unbound by the rules of engagement, this is signature Black Ops.
The Black Ops 6 Campaign provides dynamic moment-to-moment gameplay that includes a variety of play spaces with blockbuster set pieces and action-packed moments, high-stakes heists, and cloak-and-dagger spy activity.
In a best-in-class Multiplayer experience, players will test their skills across 16 new maps at launch, including 12 core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.
Black Ops 6 also marks the epic return of Round-Based Zombies, the fan-favorite mode where players will take down hordes of the undead in two brand-new maps at launch. Post-launch, players can look forward to even more exciting maps and groundbreaking experiences dropping into both Multiplayer and Zombies.
