- Concrete details on the new Zombies map likely to be unveiled next week or early the week after.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is releasing its brand-new Zombies map, Citadelle Des Morts, on Thursday, December 5. Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has enjoyed a great deal of success since its launch at the end of October. Developer Treyarch and publisher Activision have kept the game's momentum going strong with post-launch content like the return of the popular Nuketown map and the start of Season 1.
Black Ops 6 Season 1 added three new multiplayer maps, a Battle Pass, new weapons, and a lot more to the game, but it was very light on Zombies content. However, it was confirmed that while a new Zombies map wouldn't be added to Black Ops 6 at the start of Season 1, one would come a bit later on. And now Call of Duty Zombies fans know exactly when to expect the new Zombies map.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Players Call for Removal of Controversial Feature
A large portion of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players call for developer Treyarch Studios to remove one of the game's most controversial features.
As confirmed by Treyarch, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 will be adding the new Citadelle Des Morts Zombies map on Thursday, December 5. The new map is set in an abandoned castle in Europe and stars the characters featured in the Terminus Island map: Weaver, Maya, Carver, and Grey. The map will also feature a medieval village to explore. Black Ops 6 Zombies players can look forward to a new perk, a new field upgrade, new wonder weapons, and a new enemy type, though specifics on those are unavailable at the time of this writing.
When is the New Black Ops 6 Zombies Map Coming Out?
- The Citadelle Des Morts Zombies map is coming to Black Ops 6 on Thursday, December 5.
Now that Black Ops 6 players know when the Zombies map is coming to the game, chances are good that concrete details on it will be unveiled sooner rather than later. It's likely that more information on the new Black Ops 6 Zombies map will come next week, and if not then, then early the week after. At that point, fans should learn all there is to know about the new Perk-A-Cola perk, new enemy type, and all the other new content coming to Zombies.
Fans can also look forward to a continuation of the Black Ops 6 Zombies storyline, with Citadelle Des Morts set after the events depicted during Terminus Island's main quest. When Black Ops 6 launched, the Zombies main quests were not available at first, but there will be no such wait for Citadelle Des Morts. As soon as the new map goes live on December 5, Black Ops 6 Zombies players will be able to jump in and try to finish the main quest for themselves.

Forced to go rogue. Hunted from within. This is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Developed by Treyarch and Raven, Black Ops 6 is a spy action thriller set in the early 90s, a period of transition and upheaval in global politics, characterized by the end of the Cold War and the rise of the United States as a single superpower. With a mind-bending narrative, and unbound by the rules of engagement, this is signature Black Ops.
The Black Ops 6 Campaign provides dynamic moment-to-moment gameplay that includes a variety of play spaces with blockbuster set pieces and action-packed moments, high-stakes heists, and cloak-and-dagger spy activity.
In a best-in-class Multiplayer experience, players will test their skills across 16 new maps at launch, including 12 core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.
Black Ops 6 also marks the epic return of Round-Based Zombies, the fan-favorite mode where players will take down hordes of the undead in two brand-new maps at launch. Post-launch, players can look forward to even more exciting maps and groundbreaking experiences dropping into both Multiplayer and Zombies.
