November 1 is shaping up to be a big day for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players, as developer Treyarch Studios confirms a special Double XP weekend will be kicking off alongside the addition of the fan-favorite multiplayer map, Nuketown. While it won't come as a surprise to some Black Ops 6 fans, Treyarch is also celebrating the release of Nuketown by giving the map its very own 24/7 playlist.
The shooter's second weekend is shaping up to be massive, but the latest Call of Duty title has already found massive success in its very first week. Black Ops 6 is not only receiving rave reviews from critics but it has now been confirmed by Microsoft's CEO that Treyarch's new release is the biggest in the franchise's history. Not only did Black Ops 6 reportedly set a new record for day one Call of Duty players, it also saw an influx in Xbox Game Pass subscribers, according to Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella.
Black Ops 6 Kicking Off First Double XP Weekend on November 1
After a hugely successful first week, it looks like Treyarch is attempting to keep the hype train at full speed as the studio has now confirmed the first Black Ops 6 Double XP weekend will be arriving on Friday, November 1, along with the addition of Nuketown and a special 24/7 playlist for the fan-favorite map. According to a recent tweet from Treyarch, Nuketown 24/7 will be available in both Core and Hardcore and will include Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, and Kill Confirmed. Thankfully, it looks like there will be no Kill Order included in the playlist.
Black Ops 6's first Double XP weekend is looking like a big one, as it will feature standard level XP, weapon XP, and an increased GobbleGum earn rate for all of the die-hard Call of Duty Zombies players. While the exact time that the Double XP weekend will begin has yet to be confirmed, Treyarch has informed players that it will be live until Monday, November 4, giving fans four whole days to level up as much as they can.
With Double XP and a dedicated 24/7 playlist, it looks like Treyarch is aiming to go all out for Nuketown's return. But for those who might not be able to jump in this weekend, there's still plenty of new content on the way in just a few short weeks. After previously being leaked via a promotional email, Treyarch has now revealed that Black Ops 6 Season 1 will begin on November 14. Although there's no word on what content will be included in the game's first major update, fans can likely expect plenty of new maps, modes, weapons, and more.

Forced to go rogue. Hunted from within. This is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Developed by Treyarch and Raven, Black Ops 6 is a spy action thriller set in the early 90s, a period of transition and upheaval in global politics, characterized by the end of the Cold War and the rise of the United States as a single superpower. With a mind-bending narrative, and unbound by the rules of engagement, this is signature Black Ops.
The Black Ops 6 Campaign provides dynamic moment-to-moment gameplay that includes a variety of play spaces with blockbuster set pieces and action-packed moments, high-stakes heists, and cloak-and-dagger spy activity.
In a best-in-class Multiplayer experience, players will test their skills across 16 new maps at launch, including 12 core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.
Black Ops 6 also marks the epic return of Round-Based Zombies, the fan-favorite mode where players will take down hordes of the undead in two brand-new maps at launch. Post-launch, players can look forward to even more exciting maps and groundbreaking experiences dropping into both Multiplayer and Zombies.
