Fans coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 from Modern Warfare 3 will notice that the upcoming game has dropped Tactical Stance, a feature that was intended to help players aim better. Tactical Stance allowed players to fire from the hip with better accuracy but proved to be controversial among fans. Treyarch has decided to drop the feature from Black Ops 6, with the game making several additional changes to the way players move, aim, and fire their weapons.
Black Ops 6 seeks to shake up the Call of Duty formula, changing the way players move and interact with the game and adding plenty of new maps and game modes. The game brings back many fan-favorite features, such as Call of Duty's iconic theater mode and classic prestige, but players can expect the game to also feel unique thanks to its approach to movement. Black Ops 6 introduces something called omnidirectional movement, allowing players to dive, slide, and sprint in multiple directions. Gone are the days when players could only run forward, with the Black Ops 6 battlefield changing to make way for this new gameplay. However, beta players have noticed differences with aiming as well, with one divisive feature not being carried over from Modern Warfare 3.
CoD Black Ops 6 & Warzone: Best C9 Loadout
The C9 is an excellent Submachine Gun in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 & Warzone. Here is the best loadout for this viable weapon.
Players enjoying the Black Ops 6 beta have noticed that Tactical Stance is no longer an option when sliding or running during combat. Previously, players could identify if they were in Tactical Stance by looking at the position of their weapon. If their gun was in a slanted position with a smaller, tighter crosshair, they were in Tactical Stance. However, it seems that Tactical Stance has not been completely eliminated from Black Ops 6, with the game giving players the option to replicate the system by using a specific attachment.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Changes Tactical Stance
Those wanting to replicate this classic feature can equip their guns with a Tactical Laser. Players had their choice of weapon in Modern Warfare 3, but the Canted Laser attachment came in handy. Similar to this popular sight, Black Ops 6's Tactical Laser attachment also comes in handy in many ways, making close-range encounters more manageable. However, this option does come with downsides, allowing enemy players to see the visible laser on the weapon.
Players have been experimenting with new class types and weapons, as Black Ops 6 introduced several new options into the fray. Black Ops 6's Jackal SMG has been a weapon of choice for many players during the game's beta, though there are strong options for snipers and assault rifles as well. The Black Ops 6 beta includes access to multiplayer, with Zombies and campaign modes being kept off-limits until the game's release later this year. Black Ops 6 officially releases on October 25, 2024.

Forced to go rogue. Hunted from within. This is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.
Developed by Treyarch and Raven, Black Ops 6 is a spy action thriller set in the early 90s, a period of transition and upheaval in global politics, characterized by the end of the Cold War and the rise of the United States as a single superpower. With a mind-bending narrative, and unbound by the rules of engagement, this is signature Black Ops.
The Black Ops 6 Campaign provides dynamic moment-to-moment gameplay that includes a variety of play spaces with blockbuster set pieces and action-packed moments, high-stakes heists, and cloak-and-dagger spy activity.
In a best-in-class Multiplayer experience, players will test their skills across 16 new maps at launch, including 12 core 6v6 maps and 4 Strike maps that can be played 2v2 or 6v6.
Black Ops 6 also marks the epic return of Round-Based Zombies, the fan-favorite mode where players will take down hordes of the undead in two brand-new maps at launch. Post-launch, players can look forward to even more exciting maps and groundbreaking experiences dropping into both Multiplayer and Zombies.
