Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has put the spotlight on its three new maps, Signal, Haven, and Blazetown. These new in-game additions are set to become available in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 as part of the Season 3 Reloaded update coming on May 1.
When Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 came out back in 2024, much of the praise was directed towards the campaign mode, an area in which the devs marked a triumphant return after a long time. However, that isn't to say that the game's online component is anything considerably less. Till now, three different seasonal updates have been shipped to Black Ops 6, renewing players' interest in the FPS title, with the latest such Call of Duty update being Season 3, which kicked off on April 2. Soon, players are also scheduled to receive a mid-season refresh that is confirmed to introduce a range of in-game content.
It's Time for Call of Duty to Follow in Madden 26's Footsteps
EA's Madden NFL franchise is finally making a long requested change, and it's time for the Call of Duty series to follow suit.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 shared fresh details about the Signal, Haven, and Blazetown maps featured in its forthcoming update. First off, Signal is a Strike Map that can be played either in 2v2 mode or in 6v6 mode. Moreover, there is a new Core Map titled Haven, which can be picked for 6v6 matches. Lastly, there is also the new Blazetown map, which will support 6v6 gameplay. Alongside this information, some glimpses of these new maps coming in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's Season 3 Reloaded update were shown off. From the bleak and compact areas in Signal to the expansive and decrepit buildings in Haven to the colorful visuals in Blazetown, the video conveys the mood of each of these maps.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Sheds Light on New Maps in Season 3 Reloaded
On Call of Duty's official website, Signal is described as a map acting as a flashback to the Cold War and featuring areas, including water-submerged ones, such as submarine bays, a control room, and a broadcast station. On the other hand, Haven is revealed to be a KGB hideout, disguised as a lavish estate, with a good mix of indoor and outdoor areas, ranging from a ballroom to a courtyard. Unlike these two, there is no additional information about Blazetown, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6's fresh makeover of the Nuketown map.
Besides the forthcoming mid-season update, there are a few other things that Call of Duty players have been intrigued by lately. One such point of interest involves a rumor hinting at a possible collaboration between Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and the highly popular Mission: Impossible franchise. If this particular report turns out to be true, it would be yet another mainstream action film franchise to join the list of Call of Duty crossovers, alongside others such as Rambo and Die Hard.
